My name is Jim, and I'd like to think I'm a pretty easy going guy. I work a lot, but I try to make the most of my free time. I have a BA in psychology from UConn and am pursuing my masters in social work. I'm an honest guy who really just wants to get to know people. I'm always up for a good conversation, or for a random adventure. I love the outdoors and like to go hiking, but that doesn't mean I'm not down for a movie or anything either.

I'm currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work at UConn (West Hartford). I also work second shift at Mt. Sinai hospital as a mental health worker on the psychiatric units, usually the adolescent unit.

I'm really good at listening. I mean, it's my job, it's what I'm going to school for, but it's just a huge part of me. It's important to listen to what people have to say.

People always comment on the little hop in my step that I have. It's my swagger, if you ever meet me you're bound to ask about it.

I love to read, so for favorite books I've got Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, The Great Gatsby, A Million Little Pieces, anything by Palhanuick, anything about zombies or about the end of the world, tons more, just ask me. Movies I love are Fight Club, Into the Wild, Inception, Avatar, and alot of other ones. I love rock music like Three Days Grace, Disturbed, Five Finger Death Punch, all the stuff that 106.9 plays. I love food, anything different like thai, indian, and all the normal stuff like italian.

This is tough but I think the first thing would be coffee, I'm addicted to it. The second is.. tortilla chips, they are my other weakness. Third would be books. Fourth music. Fifth umm.... sleep which I never get enough of. And lastly good friends, I need people to be close with.

I spend a lot of time thinking about work, which sucks, but it's true. I really care for the people I work with and the patients. I also spend a lot of time thinking about songs and books I want to read. Or what I'm going to do in my free time.

I'm either working or trying to find something to do, like hanging out with friends, or trying to see a movie or something.

This is tough, you'll just have to get to know me to find out.
