I am sarcastic, funny, and intelligent.
My Self-Summary
I am the kind of person who believes life is meant to be
experienced, and not just passed through. It is a journey, whose
road leads forever to the horizon. I am here because I do not
believe that road was meant to be traveled alone.
I have seen much of the world, but wish to see much more, and more
than that, I wish to have someone to share it with. I am educated,
intelligent, secure, and always in search of the next adventure. I
like to know a little bit about everything...I think it makes me a
really good person to have a conversation, discussion, or even
argument with.
My tastes and likes are all over the board...I like nature, as well
as curling up with a good book. I am just as likely on any given
evening to be re-reading the Dune series as I am to be sitting on a
swing in a park watching the fireflies come out.
I am a transplant from southern California, having re-located for
work. I am still getting to know the area, but I am finding new and
neat things all the time. If you would like to show me something
around here that no one ever sees, I promise you would have an
enraptured guest.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I am working too hard and starting to realize that it's
not the most important thing in life. I am trying to balance my
work life with a fulfilling personal life now, and am hoping to
meet someone who will help turn the balance into a great life.
I’m really good at
Finding something funny in nearly any situation. I also have an
uncanny knack for being able to say the right thing at the right
time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am honestly not sure...I have never asked. I have been told that
my eyes have caught people's attention...apparently they are a neat
shade of blue.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Food - Pasta, a creatively put together hodge podge, and a good old
fashioned steak.
Movies - Comedies (the wackier the better), Action movies that
don't make you roll your eyes at the ridiculous plot, and even a
good romantic comedy now and then to keep perspective.
Books - I don't think I could pick favorites...I enjoy something in
nearly everything I read.
Music - Same as food...music was meant to be enjoyed, not compared,
contrasted, and arbitrarily picked.
The six things I could never do without
My car...my job...my friends and family...laughter...nature...a
hopefully never ending supply of life's little surprises.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the world needs, and if I have it in me to make it happen.
On a typical Friday night I am
In the spring, probably driving to a part of town I have never been
to just to say I was there.
In the summer, probably out walking around enjoying the summer
air.
In the winter, probably snuggled up under a blanket reading a book
I probably read years ago but have forgotten all about.
In the fall, probably at home with some music playing, trying to
perfect my spaghetti sauce.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Is that I am willing to admit privater stuff once I get to know
you.
You should message me if
You want some stimulating conversation, or if you could use a good
laugh. Or, if the idea of snuggling up on a couch with some popcorn
watching a movie after a long day sounds like your idea of heaven.
