My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I work as a sales manager for a smallish / family owned distributor of fine wines. So, naturally I like nothing better than sharing a nice bottle of wine with a friend(s).

Love going to the movies, but prefer classic or indie movies to Hollywood hits. I also enjoy live music with a preference for acoustic / folk.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I've been taking Yoga classes since the begining of the new year. There aren't too many poses I can do at this stage, but I always feel great after a class.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a pretty good cook.

I'm pretty easy going, have a sense of humor and that I'm non judgemental. Somewhat outgoing, I'll strike up a conversation with strangers with little provocation.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
My reading tends to historical events and personal accounts. Favorite authors include Willa Cather, Robert Graves and Stephen Ambrose. One of my favorite books is the "Killer Angels".

I really enjoy movies but tend to get restless with formula Hollywood Hits. One of my favorite venues is The Harvard Film Archives.

Although not tuned in on Heavy Metal or Rap, my taste in music is diverse. I will profess a fondness for acoustic / folk music, I'm a sucker for "bitter / sweet" balads.

When it comes to food there are no limits. I love all types of cuisines.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A connection to my siblings.
Downtime in the kitchen, cooking is relaxing to me.
Un bon petit vin.
A dog to gently wrestle with.
Something new to learn.
A dictionary, or spell check (lol), I'm a terrible speller.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How elusive peace and contentment can be.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The longer I live alone the more I get used to it.
