I moved out here in September 2011 for a job and a new start. Now I'm exploring life and what it has to offer me.

I'm basically a giant teddy bear. I tend to be a romantic idealist but I've learned to temper that with a healthy dose of cynicism. But hey, there's always something new around the corner. In short, I'm a great guy, and I'm out to conquer the world! Who wants to join me?

I'm taking control of it! I'm out here on my own (ALL my friends and family are back in Cali) and I'm making my life my own. I'm working full time, finishing my degree and getting into stock trading. I have my own place, my own car, and a dog and cat!

Writing! I've published a book.

I've also got a knack for cooking. I've never taken any cooking classes or undergone any professional training but it's something I like to do as a hobby, mostly because it's cheaper and healthier to buy and cook your own food than it is to eat out.

TV Shows: Hell on Wheels, The Walking Dead, Burn Notice, Battlestar Galactica, Firefly, Suits

Five favorite movies: The Godfather, Collateral, Inception, Changing Lanes and No Country for Old Men.

Books: Anything by Thomas Cahill. Reading through George Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series.

Music: Anything that sounds good to me. I can't really rule out any type of music because I can at least think of a few examples of something from each genre I like.

What comes next, and how I get to where I want to be from here.

Sometimes out with friends, sometimes geeking it up playing World of Warcraft or Starcraft 2. Yes...I am a gamer and proud of it!

I've loved and I've lost...I don't know if that really is any better than to not have loved at all.
