My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I just read an article about on-line matching. The number one complaint was the lack of honesty in profiles, in particular, very out-dated photos. If you can't be honest in trying to attract a mate, how honest are you going to be in trying to keep one? Please, have a recent photo posted.
A nice christian guy. Having been a boy scout, I could say I'm trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent. That and the Golden Rule gives a pretty good set of guidelines. By the way, I'm not perfect -- but I do my best.
I would like to find an affectionate woman to fall in love with who wants to be hugged, kissed, touched, cuddled, even PDA. You're playful, and like to do things together. I'll give you time to yourself, of course, when you desire. I'll give you time to yourself, of course, when you desire. I don't need constant attention. You'd be in my mind all the time.
I like to travel and see things. Some of that (National Parks) can be done by camping. Other places require more elaborate transportation -- plane, train, or cruise ship. I have been to Switzerland, Austria, Italy, and Hawaii and would love to re-visit any/all of them. You probably have favorites of your own that I have not seen. Sandy beaches on any ocean.
Music: my main interest is classical. I sometimes listen to "oldies", musicals, light jazz, or just easy-listening, concert/marching band, and pipe organ.
Hobbies: Music, electronics, woodworking, camping, hiking, computers, model railroading.
Outdoors I enjoy preparing and planting gardens; flowers, vegetables, fruits; just not great on weeding!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
At my church I sing in the choir, play handbells, occasionally solo both vocal and flute. Outside of church, I sing in the Choral Union at UofM (occasionally performing with the Detroit Symphony), and play with the Livingston County Concert Band.
When I can, I like to go bicycling, hiking, camping, canoeing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I am pretty handy around the home. I can and do often fix things – electrical, mechanical, plumbing, masonry, concrete, painting, dry-wall, woodwork, windows, screen, etc. I'll take a stab at it, or call in an expert if I know I can't handle it; something like a septic drain field, for example. I've never operated a back-hoe.

Help your potential matches find common interests.
movies: comedies, sci-fi, fantasy
shows: musicals
music: classical, show tunes, pipe organ, and others (not rap -- that's not 'music', anyway.)
food: "meat & potatoes", fish, chicken, pork, Italian. (I make a pretty good chicken stir-fry.)
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
∙ something to do (a purpose in life)
∙ music
∙ woods (outdoors)
∙ swiss army knife
∙ someone to love
∙ friends

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why anyone without a picture would try to contact me, unless they're hiding something. And it's probably something bad.
On a typical Friday night I am

The same thing I do every night, Pinky; try to take over the world!
