My self-summary
Late blooming caffeine addict who enjoys watching cartoons and doing funny voices. Humanist at heart Ignostic in spirituality.

I've been in Chicago since 2005 and there are very few other places I'd rather live. Maybe New York, but the only reason I'd want to go to Los Angeles would be for work. I like an urban landscape where you can walk. Also rain.

My favorite Avenger is The Hulk and I'm kinda bummed there's yet to be confirmed a solo Hulk movie for Mark Ruffalo, especially since I think if anything the Marvel Cinematic Universe needs to bring in She-Hulk.

I spend a lot of time thinking about stuff like that and writing the first 10 pages of a fan fiction script I wish I could sell to Marvel. Surprisingly enough though I don't really read a lot of comic books themselves although I used to have a small collection.

I've probably edited this profile a million times just cus whenever I come back to it I always cringe at the last thing I wrote.
What I’m doing with my life
Roaming through the city on my kick scooter and working at Whole Foods while I try to find myself.

When I'm not working to pay the bills I like dabbling in photography and artsy videos or just fun campy horror stuff. I've made a couple of short films and worked on a few features as a low level Production Assistant.

I've been told I have a radio voice so if anyone has any connections to the industry hook me up.
I’m really good at
Talking your ear off about my latest obsession in literature, film, or camera technology. I know I should be happy with what I have but... but look at the dynamic range.... dynamic raaaaange....
The first things people usually notice about me
My giant horn rimmed glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Millennium Trilogy, Harry Potter (J.K.'s Casual Vacancy was... okay, but I'm looking forward to The Cuckoos Calling), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Clockwork Orange, Rebel Without a Crew, Elmore Leonard, Stephen King, Philip K Dick, Jules Verne, Agatha Christie, HP Lovecraft.

Movies: The works of Stephen Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick, Ridley Scott, Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, Sophia Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Sergio Leone, Wes Anderson, The Cohen Brothers, Sam Raimi, John Carpenter, Robert Rodriguez, David Lynch, Woody Allen, Kevin Smith, and Mel Brooks. I also enjoy Amelie, Run Lola Run, Casablanca, Psycho, Tootsie, Singing in the Rain. I'm always up to discover a new cult film as well.

TV: Dr. Who, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Bob's Burgers, Community, Spaced, Mythbusters, Daily Show, The Office, Mystery Science Theater 3000, ADVENTURE TIME! (Yes I like cartoons, why? Don't you?) Also one of the few reality TV shows I'll admit to watching is Comic Book Men on AMC.

Music: I like instrumental stuff mostly, jazz, blues, classical, soundtracks, new age. On occasion I may feel the need for some hard core head smashing metal if I've had a rough day.

Food: Falafel and hummus, Mexican-Korean fusion, sushi, pad-thai, Rubens, midnight fast food. I also make my own interesting flavor combos like black bean pizza or cucumber-mango salad.
The six things I could never do without
1. My laptop
2. My camera
3. Instant microwave noodles
4. Youtube Tutorials
5. Caffeine (this should probably be #1)
6. My crock pot (Lentil soup, turkey chili, chorizo tacos, mac and cheese, so many uses.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Is today the day I get my Amazon package?

Am I the dark world version of myself?

Will the universe collapse on itself causing time to flow in reverse meaning everyone will live life backwards? What's that gonna be like?

In 10,000 years will Elephants have evolved their intelligence to form culture and civilization to the point where we will accept them as equals and allow them to join our galactic empire?

If I was trapped on a deserted island how long would it take me before I go nuts and start reenacting the episode of Full House where they go to Hawaii and meet the Beach Boys?
On a typical Friday night I am
Watching Netflix or Hulu with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I really hope I live long enough to become a cyborg. And I think that's a pretty reasonable expectation these days.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I'm bored with life. I need to meet new people and have new experiences. Or at least meet someone as bored as I am so we can be bored together. Maybe a friend to have fun with, maybe more. I don't know, maybe just have a late night conversation. If you're up for any of that let me know.
