My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Know thyself, I think that's a saying from ancient Greece. How well can we know ourselves? I think I'm an okay guy, people seem to like me well enough. I know a little about a lot of stuff but I also know how little I know, which may be more than some in one area and less than others in another. I like to write, play word games, be creative. I've humbled myself to the fact that I'm one in six billion but I still like to play the lottery every once in a while. I think success is in part luck, skill, and perseverance. Two of the three you can control to an extent so those aren't the worst odds.

There are a few things I wish I could do for a living. Photographer, writer, voice actor, film director, cult leader, but you know it's hard to get established with that stuff. But again, you work hard and who knows where life will take you.

As you might be able to tell I like to joke around a lot. If I play devil's advocate it's usually with a generous helping of sarcasm. I'm extremely messy and disorganized and have a problem with buying a lot of crap off ebay I'm probably never gonna use.

I like contemplating absurd scientific scenarios and logistics of things like building your own Iron Man suit using existing technology. I'm also typing this very late at night so I might just end this here.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
When I'm not working to pay the bills I like dabbling in photography and artsy videos or just fun campy horror stuff. I've made a couple of short films and worked on a few features as a low level Production Assistant.

I've been told I have a radio voice so if anyone has any connections to the industry hook me up.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Looking at the world through a distorted lens. Finding places to be alone in the city. Looking up obscure books and movies.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My giant horn rimmed glasses.

That and how I'm a 9 foot tall God made of solid bronze chiseled to human perfection... no really I swear. I was a stand in for The Rock on the last Fast and the Furious movie. Also I tend to over-embellish.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: The Millennium Trilogy, Harry Potter (J.K.'s Casual Vacancy was... okay, but I'm looking forward to The Cuckoos Calling), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, A Clockwork Orange, Rebel Without a Crew, Elmore Leonard, Stephen King, Philip K Dick, Jules Verne, Agatha Christie, HP Lovecraft.

Movies: The works of Stephen Spielberg, Christopher Nolan, Stanley Kubrick, Ridley Scott, Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, Sophia Coppola, Martin Scorsese, Sergio Leone, Wes Anderson, The Cohen Brothers, Sam Raimi, John Carpenter, Robert Rodriguez, David Lynch, Woody Allen, Kevin Smith, and Mel Brooks. I also enjoy Amelie, Run Lola Run, Casablanca, Psycho, Tootsie, I also find You've Got Mail to be the most 1998 movie ever and I love it.

TV: Gotham, Agents of SHIELD, Dr. Who, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, Bob's Burgers, Community, Spaced, Mythbusters, Daily Show, The Office, Mystery Science Theater 3000, ADVENTURE TIME! (Yes I like cartoons, why? Don't you?) Also one of the few reality TV shows I'll admit to watching is Comic Book Men on AMC.

Music: I like instrumental stuff mostly, jazz, blues, classical, soundtracks, new age. On occasion I may feel the need for some hard core head smashing metal if I've had a rough day.

Food: Falafel and hummus, Mexican-Korean fusion, sushi, pad-thai, Rubens, midnight fast food. I also make my own interesting flavor combos like black bean pizza or cucumber-mango salad.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My laptop
2. My camera
3. Instant microwave noodles
4. Youtube Tutorials
5. Caffeine (this should probably be #1)
6. My crock pot (Lentil soup, turkey chili, chorizo tacos, mac and cheese, so many uses.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.

On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching Netflix.
