Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am the vocalist/ lyricist for an up-and-coming band, Maynsurge.
I'm currently studying at Clayton State University, seeking a
degree in English education. I enjoy writing, reading, listening to
music, gaming, and having long (MEANINGFUL) conversations. I'm far
from an average guy, though I might not look it. I'm a bit shy, but
it doesn't take long to get me out of my shell. I'm a devout
Christian, but I'm not the type to judge others for their beliefs
or to force my belief onto others. I try to be the best person that
I can possibly be, the best friend that one could imagine. I love
to laugh and make people laugh. I traded in my Straight Edge for
the Jagged Edges of Clayton State University, a self-harm awareness
organization set out to erase the stigmas in hopes of breaking the
cycle of self-abuse. As a former "cutter," I take this work VERY
seriously, so if you have something negative to say about it, you'd
be best to keep it to yourself or keep your distance from me. Truth
be told, I'm a bit of a misanthrope, meaning that I don't trust
very easily and I have an unhealthy loathing for humanity on the
whole. I've been known to be extremely moody due to my bipolar
disorder, but I'm a very kind and caring person for the most part.
As I've previously stated, I'm far from the average guy. I'm not
looking for someone to sleep with or look at naked, but someone to
spend quality time with. Call me a dreamer, but I believe in true
love. I hope to find that one special girl to whom I can give my
heart without fear of her breaking it. I don't want to hook up and
hang out right away because I'm an old-fashioned type of guy. I
believe that past generations were right in the idea of courtship,
so I'm not looking to jump into anything too quickly. I find it
hard to be open about my emotions because I find them to be my
greatest weakness, an uncontrollable vulnerability... If you do
decide to message me, please leave a message that I can actually
respond to. Although it is a minor boost to my self-esteem, "You're
cute." or "Hey sexy." aren't the best conversation starters.
Furthermore, if you can't type properly, please don't get offended
if I call you on it. As I previously stated, I'm an English major
who plans to teach once I get my degree, so it should be understood
that I appreciate good grammar, spelling, and sentence structure.
If you type in "txt," please don't bother me with it. If there's
anything else that you could possibly want to know about me, feel
free to message me.
