Well... not much to say, really. I'm generally a pretty quiet guy
most of the time, I have a couple dozen friends, seven or eight of
which I'd consider close friends. I've got a pretty good
relationship with my family. I'm a lot more shy around girls than I
probably should be. I've got a pretty dry sense of humor, which a
lot of people seem to think is pretty funny(there's actually a
Facebook page about how funny I am. Really). I'm pretty smart, and
have consistently been somewhat above average in most academic
areas since early primary school; that sort of trailed off a bit in
high school, on account of me being lazy, but I still managed to
pull off a solid B-average grade average easily. I'm generally
pretty nice, I'm almost always polite to a fault, and for the most
part I tend to genuinely like most people that I meet.
The first things people usually notice about me
Well, probably the fact that I'm quiet. As in, I often talk little,
not as in having a soft voice. If it's your first time meeting me,
I'll probably 'hang back' as far as conversation goes, and try and
become comfortable around you before I'll open up a bit. After
that, you'll likely notice a dry, witty humor start to slowly seep
into the things I ordinarily say. Honestly, I don't even try most
of the time and I'm counted as 'one of the funniest people (they)
know' by most people who know me. I'll reiterate; there is a
Facebook page about how funny I am. For serious.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
As far as movies go... well, here's a list.
Kickass, Shaun of the Dead, World War Z, The Great Gatsby, Shutter
Island, End of Evangelion, Looper, The Avengers, Iron man, Captain
America, The Hangover, Thor, Django Unchained, Howl's Moving
Castle, 21 Jump Street, Laputa, Grave Encounters, The Blair Witch
Project, Tropic Thunder, Dodgeball, Couple's retreat, Paul,
Inception, Taken, Superbad.
I mean, among other things. As a general rule, horror movies are
good, as are 'serious comedies' and dramatic/thriller (Not the
song) type movies. Sometimes less serious/'grown up' movies are
sometimes okay as well.
Game of Thrones, Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Walking Dead, Under
the Dome, Ugly Americans, American Dad, The Simpsons, South Park.
Again, among other things.
Umm.... Well, uhh... The Riftwar saga, Harry Potter, The Edge
Chronicles... lots of others, sorta too many to just list here,
actually. I'll get back to this.
The six things I could never do without
My laptop. It basically has my whole life on it, by this
Tvtropes; it can ruin your life, so I've been told, but I think I'm
'Quick' food that you can just microwave, throw in the oven or cook
in about 10 minutes.
A basic level of privacy, ie. my room has a door.
Someone to joke around with; or at least, someone who finds me
funny or will at least pretend to laugh at my jokes.
Umm... Skyrim's also pretty good, I suppose.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What the hell am I going to do with the rest of my life now? (As
in, after university. And probably while I'm there, as well.)
Why the hell would I have done that? (Basically anything I have
done that, looking back, I think is stupid.)
I also love to immerse myself in fictional universes.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well, actually I'm more than likely on Tvtropes, Facebook,
Debate.org, or watching movies or something like that. Or possibly
am reading something instead. Or on the PS3 with my brother, or
just sort of having a sit down in the living room and not really
You should message me if
If you want to talk to me? Honestly, I'll try and keep whatever
conversation topic you choose to start going.
