I'm a hopeful romantic with a good head on her shoulders. Although slightly shy at times, I love people and the stories and things we can learn from one another. Here's how my friends would probably describe me: bubbly, super nice, fun, optimistic, slightly nerdy, sarcastic, smiley, talented.

I'm studying at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia to become a costume designer. Home, for me, is split between Philly and Baltimore.

Oh and I'm learning how to drive! No joke. I know it sounds sort of sad since I'm 20, but when you live in the city you really don't need a car. Greyhound is my BFF.

Art related things: photo, drawing, design, theater. I have an ear for music but no musical talents at all. Cuddling. Making people feel welcomed or at home. Hugs. Believing things that aren't true. Quoting useless nature/animal knowledge I've learned from far too much Discovery Channel. Playing with kids (I worked at a summer camp).

Sadly I don't do too much reading: currently my book collection consists of Leroy Grannis photo-books (he was a surf photographer in the 1960's), art and various costume history books, a variety of Shel Silverstein, and a Ray Bradbury anthology.

Food- I like eating healthy (I only eat poultry and fish) but I'm a total sucker for dark chocolate, mac and cheese, and chicken cheese steaks.

My movie and music favorites list could go on for days, and I'm sure I'm missing a ton of things:

Movies- Jaws, Jurassic Park, Wall-E, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Running With Scissors, Wristcutters, Garden State, and anything by Hayao Miyazaki.

Music- Alot of pop punk, ska, folk, indie, and other generally happy music: Beach Boys, Motion City Soundtrack, Avett Brothers, Say Anything, The Format, Reel Big Fish, etc etc. Itunes tells me I have enough music to last 7.3 days.

TV- Pushing Daisies. Pushing Daisies. Pushing Daisies.

I hate questions like this! Hopefully my life won't come to the point where I could only pick 6 things to have for the rest of forever. I love everything and everyone in my life right now.

How nothing should be taken for granted. How rude people suck. How awesome future-life is going to be. How much of the world I'd still like to see. How many things I still have to do.

I generally LOVE a good adventure with friends: going to random places, trespassing, a drink and a wander, a hike, exploring a new place.

But of course it's nice to have a quiet night in every once and awhile: complete with friends, movies, snacks, and the occasional video game.

I'm shy and ridiculously gullible and nice when I first meet people, but when I'm more comfortable the sarcastic and vulgar side comes out and I usually say things people don't expect.

I am SUPER skeptical about OKCupid, I think it's kind of creepy, but a couple of friends talked me into this.
