My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello. I am currently working on figuring out what I want to with my life. I was going to be a doctor for a while, but changed my mind there, so I've taken a few semesters off and am currently working on a degree in Psychology, Biology, and Chemistry. Hopefully headed to a graduate program in Neuroscience next year.

I like to travel; I've been to Israel, England, France, and quite a bit of the US. Always looking forward to more voyages in the future. I try to get out of Cleveland once every few months. I also enjoy good food, wine, going to museums, having a good beer.

Writing is, clearly, not something at which I excel. I apologize if reading any of this has bored you to tears. I hope to god I'm more interesting then this in real life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
(see above) — Finally finishing my bachelors (will be done next year and I cannot wait). Grad school next. I study brains and how they work; it's pretty cool. I work in a lab doing research. I'm the lab bitch, but it is still interesting.
We shall see...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Isn't this section a bit self-laudatory?

My eyes.

They are blue.

People feel the need to tell me this often. Maybe they think I've never noticed them in 27 years... I don't know.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love food. All of it. I don't have a favorite. That's a lie; duck is my favorite. I just love it all as long as it's good.

I used to read a lot but in the past few years I've kinda stopped. Currently Reading some Bukowski and the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. Camus and Vonnegut are by far my favorite authors. There is a special place in my heart for all of Tolkien's books. I really want to like Game of Thrones, but I'm having a difficult time getting into it.

Music is all over the place. I love Classical and jazz. Maynard Ferguson is my hero. I really enjoy classic rock, especially British Invasion stuff, The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks, etc. I was huge into ska a long time ago; I still love Streetlight Manifesto. Random other bands I really like: The Gaslight Anthem, Trampled by Turtles, Bon Iver, Of Monsters and Men, Cake, Mumford and Sons, Colin Hay, Matt and Kim, et al.

I like a lot of movies but I generally prefer television. I like that there is a lot more time to learn about the characters and have them really "come alive" over the course of a series.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order:

Water: e.g. a lake or the ocean. Somewhere to sail.

Companionship of some sort. Alternatively, bourbon works too.

Duck. It's delicious.

Did I say coffee? I'm going with coffee again. It's that important.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to eat for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Studying or reading articles mostly. I know, I'm really exciting.

I do go out occasionally.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My new goal in life is to run a 100-miler ultramarathon. One of the big ones like Western States or Hardrock or Leadville. It's a long way off and seems insurmountable, but hopefully I'll get there one day.
