A friend of mine recently told me that he'd found his "dream guy." I was ecstatic, and also quite jealous. I've never found anything even remotely close to my "dream guy," nor do I expect to. If I ever stumble upon him that would be amazing, but in the interim, I just need to meet a nice guy. A gentleman. Somebody that likes going out to nice restaurants or funky bars. Somebody I can have a good time with. I've had shit luck with dates recently and I'd like for that to change, just not sure how I can make that happen. O_o

I'm a 2011 Stanford graduate with a film degree. I work on campus now because I didn't want to leave. It's a nice gig. Gotta love health insurance. :3 I'm originally from Texas but am now a West Coaster. Just moved to San Mateo recently. It's a great area. Nice restaurants and bars and such. I have some good roommates. I like nice guys. Funny ones are good. They don't necessarily need to be attractive, but if you aren't then you have to make up for it with your personality. You can't be unattractive AND a dick... I'm really outlandish. Pretty eccentric at times. Periodically verging on flamboyant, but I guess that happens when you were raised not to let the opinions of others effect you. I'm a fatty at heart, I love food. I'm lazy sometimes. I enjoy just relaxing with some booze and a few friends.

Not necessarily looking for an intense romantic entanglement at this point. But, I'm certainly not opposed to it. If it comes along, that's amazing. I'm just not actively looking for it right now.

Also, I wear Batman capes and oversized hats. I scatter black petals on Rei Kawakubo's doorsteps and serenade her in rap. I wish I was Daria but I get too excited about things like candy to be deadpan all the time.

My initial plan was to move to NYC after I got my film degree. That hasn't really worked out though. I'm not irked by it too much. It's interesting not knowing what's around the next corner. Hopefully it's something good...
