I have a teaching credential in history and work with middle school students. I tutor kids in all subjects, and coach cross country at a high school. Education is something that I am very passionate about. I am a positive person with a bubbly personality, and I am pretty content with life. :)

Running is what I love to do! I have run for 11 years (competed in high school and college) and am training for my 6th marathon. I want to qualify for the Boston Marathon. I run early in the morning to get a good start to my day. I also enjoy baking and trying out new recipes. I give cookies to my family and friends.

It could be that I am short, or I am always smiling. :)

Books: To Kill a Mockingbird, Of Mice and Men, In the Time of the Butterflies, Sounder, Briar Rose, Historical fiction, anything that gives me a new outlook on life.

Movies: The Italian Job, The Sound of Music, Life is Beautiful, Love Actually, Pulp Fiction, O Brother Where Art Thou, The Shawshank Redemption, The Town, Juno.

Shows: Jeopardy, Seinfeld, The Amazing Race, College Basketball, CSI.

Music: One of my all-time favorite songs is Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison. :) I also like Alanis Morissette, Tom Petty, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Green Day, Queen, Classic Rock, music that has a good beat. Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance is an awesome song too. I just love music in general!

Food: Italian, Mexican, Greek, anything homemade, I like a variety of foods. I really enjoy fresh and healthy foods.
