What I’m doing with my life
Went to college in Michigan and recently moved to Cali. I work at the neurology ICU at USC Keck, tutor college students in math and science, and study for the MCAT endlessly.
I’m really good at
I worked as an EMT in Israel, with rockets flying into my city from Gaza pretty often, so I'm pretty good at keeping my calm when people are a bit riled up around me. CPR optional ;)

If you know any farsi, I am very fluent and even know a bit of Iranian poetry and literature.
The first things people usually notice about me
I am a lot more interested in who I'm with that where we go, but that still wont stop me from planning adventures to fun places.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I regularly listen to music in English, Spanish, Padua, Urdu, Farsi, Hebrew...there's probably more. Anything but Taylor Swift, basically.

Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, and anything doctoresque like House, Scrubs, or Grey's Anatomy is always good. My favorite movie is undoubtably Pay it forward. Story of my life...

Believe it or not, working in the ICU is like living an episode of HouseMD every day, but faster paced and actually more dramatic. It keeps my heart pumping.
The six things I could never do without
1) Family - I have an enourmous family, and they're all awesome and very close to one another.
2) Friends - I have a VERY diverse group of close friends ranging from an Israeli/Hungarian 18 year old who just started college in LA to a 22 year old chicano guy who went across the country to study in Michigan with me to a 28 year old American Jew who moved to Taiwan to teach english indefinately.
3) Traveling to other countries -- it's the best way to truly understand and appreciate a culture, especially if you stay for a long period. The food, the language, the customs...it's awesome.
4) Sushi -- There's no such thing as too much sushi...unless you're at Midori. I would LOVE to learn more about different types of sushi... there are just so many fish in the sea. (But will you be my catch o.0)
5) Card and Board games- Settlers of Catan, Dominion, Magic the Gathering, Backgammon, and even Poker.
6) Adventures - What's life without a little fun?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What kind of mischief i'll get into this year.
On a typical Friday night I am
In college I'd be out for beers, but since I graduated, I tend to spend Friday nights having dinner or doing something more relaxed.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was 16, i got lost in the woods for an entire night. Apparently, that's what they call freshmen orientation in the midwest. Four years later my description of the event made the cover of the newspaper.
