My self-summary
Bottom line if you don't want to read all of this: I'm a cool chick. I'm looking for a good man to share my life with. I don't do normal: I drive a scooter or my lime green car around town. I cook, bake, craft like a fiend, find glitter makes everything better, and am a master of the maths. Disney is my happy place. You should message me.

Now if you'd like to learn more about me... Hey there! I'm Joanna. I'm a scooter-riding, book-loving, passionate, loyal, geeky, Christian, math teacher.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a high school math teacher. Because of my passion for technology, I'm also my school's webmaster and social media manager. Most people are surprised I teach math because while I'm super logical, I am also highly creative. I have worked hard to achieve a balance in my drive to succeed at work and my desire to maintain a personal life.

Outside of work, I spend quite a bit of time with my family and friends. I'm active in my church singing alto on our Praise Team and helping run the sound/tech booth. In my free time I love to read, hang at Starbucks, write, go out and about, or complete a random art project. It's kind of a mixed bag with me. ^_^

I decorate cakes and cookies (think Ace of Cakes or Cake Boss) to pick up some extra cash. I also run a Disney travel blog that focuses on sharing my travel experiences and helping others have a better trip to Disney World, my happy place. Ask me, and I'll be happy to share the URL. (No one has asked yet...)

Currently I'm working out 3-4 times a week. I've been on a journey to better myself over the last year and have lost over 35 pounds. I'm working on losing more & just want to be healthier. I'm loving the energy that eating right and working out has given me.
I’m really good at
...crazy fast texting, math, craft projects, cake decorating, speeding through traffic on my scooter, blogging, coming up with a sarcastic response, making people laugh, amateur photography, baking, cooking, organizing, finding beauty wherever I am...
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told my eyes are stunning. I suppose that could be it. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm an avid reader. Some of my favorite reads: The Hunger Games, LotR, Harry Potter, The Mortal Instruments, The Infernal Devices, The Parasol Protectorate, and Marvel Comics. I prefer fantasy & YA fiction.

Movies: Anything from The Fast & The Furious to How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. No horror flicks for me though!

TV: Firefly, Friends, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, The Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, New Girl, Glee, Grey's Anatomy, Revenge, Revolution, Once Upon a Time, Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, & Scandal.

Music: I love an eclectic mix of music. Most anything but death metal & rap (although I like some). My music varies with my moods.

Food: I'm willing to try most anything. Raising Canes is my guilty pleasure. :)
The six things I could never do without
* My iDevices (MacBook Pro, iPad mini, iPhone, Apple TV - I refuse to count those as 4!)
* My sense of whimsy
* Glitter because life can always use more sparkle
* A good book
* Coke Slurpees
* My shih-tzu, Sprinkles
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...why my best thinking is done in the shower. Seriously, I come up with the coolest ideas while I'm washing my hair! What's up with that?
On a typical Friday night I am
...doing any number of things. I like to mix it up. Depends on the Friday!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once fell down a flight of stairs in college, basically sliding down the entire thing on my backpack in front of half the student body. When a friend ran to the bottom of the stairs and asked if I was ok, I exclaimed, "MY CALCULATOR!" because I'd landed on my backpack. She walked away pretending she didn't know me. -_-
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like girls
  • Ages 27–39
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
I am looking for a Christian man who knows how to communicate, wants a long term relationship (at least dates with that being an option), and shares my interests and sense of humor. I have a lot to give, but I'm looking for a man to compliment my life, not complete it.
