My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a graduate student hailing from and living in Munich. (Friends have in fact told me I was the first PhD student they met who was happy with being one!)

I think of myself as a reasonable yet passionate, optimistic and friendly person, and I enjoy mellow, relaxing, inspiring environments. I appreciate living the urban life, if only because cinemas, parks and comic book shops are within immediate reach.

I used to read a lot as a kid (probably turning me into a bit of an introvert for a few years), but since my studies have made me read even more, I now tend to watch a whole lot of movies and TV shows in my spare time to make up for that (and isn't that just a great way of compensating?).

Also, I've been doodling ever since I was able to hold a pen, and started making comics at an early age. I've even completed some in the meantime!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Pursuing a PhD degree on a scholarship in a wonderful work environment. And trying to reconcile it with making comics.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
... enjoying good things! Also, at reasoning, drawing, reconciling (seemingly) opposing viewpoints, procrastinating, and at connecting with the right people.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends, movies, my bed, a decent shower, chocolate, art.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
the mind.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
doing the same thing I do every night: trying to take over the world!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I haven't watched any sitcoms between ALF and 2 Broke Girls. Thus, I'm going to miss out on a lot of your in-jokes about Big Bang Theory, HIMYM, and the like.

Also, I'm afraid I'm too simple-minded to really understand open relationships and polyamory. I respect anyone's choice in this matter, and it's not that I'm especially possessive or jealous; I'm just unable to compartmentalize my affection enough to lead a non-monogamous relationship.
