What I’m doing with my life
I work in upper level technical support, fixing computer software problems for car insurance companies and auto repair shops. I enjoy the work I do, and have almost no commute to deal with. Yay!

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time playing card and board games with friends, reading, and driving around for the sake of exploration and finding interesting places I've never been.
The first things people usually notice about me
I've been told that it's my smile, warm personality, and sense of humor that stand out the most.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Food - Sushi, red wine, frozen yogurt, and nearly anything that has the taste of lime or mint.

Board Games - Ticket to Ride, Tsuro of the Seas, Settlers of Catan, and most recently, Splendor. I'm always looking to try new games and find some new favorites, though!

Books - Lately I've been reading a lot of personal improvement books about finance and simple living, but if I'm reading for fun I've enjoyed the works of Neil Gaiman and Piers Anthony. I'll also read any graphic novel I can get my hands on.

Music - I'm told I have a very eclectic taste in music, but I'd put my normal listening tastes towards jazz, electronic, and trance music.

TV - If I watch any TV nowadays, it's probably when Game of Thrones is back on.

Movies - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Godfather, Goodfellas, Scott Pilgrim, Guardians of the Galaxy, and pretty much every other Marvel comic book movie, really.
The six things I could never do without
- Board Games to enjoy with friends
- Fall, with the cool windy days and the colors it brings
- Car, for roadtrips and exploration.
- Wine, for its deliciousness and conversations that it inspires
- Art to enjoy and find inspiration from
- Internet to find new things and get reading material
I spend a lot of time thinking about
ways to improve myself, my life, and to generally be a better person all around. That, and thinking about going back to England for another vacation.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing a wine tasting at the local winery with a friend, having a game night with some friends, or just winding down from the work week with some reading.
You should message me if
you know of some undiscovered interesting places to go to around the Chicagoland area - independent coffee, wine, or sushi places always catch my interest.
