Hi, I'm Joe (AKA Joseph) and I'm currently seeking out a suitable female companion in an attempt to convince my family they should no longer try to fill that void for me. So far they're zero from three and I refuse to go on any more blind dates with girls that are "perfect" for me.

I've been described as quite a catch! Adjectives used include "nice", "kind", "caring" and "sweet". Such words would surely ensure any guy was mocked by his peers, though apparently such characteristics are sought out by the fairer sex. I am yet to see evidence of this (nice guys finish last, etc).

Below are some of my thoughts:
Good - Rugby (Wallabies, Waratahs), NRL (Roosters), Formula 1 (McLaren), photography, swimming at Bondi Beach (in the summer time, I am not a crazy person).
Bad - political correctness, religious zealots, public transport, the tabloid media, poachers, criminals, cowardly men that abuse women.

I don't go "clubbing" because I'm not 16 anymore, though I do enjoy going out for good coffee, dinner, movies, drinks etc. I also don't mind staying home and watching a movie (DVD's are so 1999) or the footy. There's no popcorn on my couch, and my floor isn't sticky (just to remove all ambiguity I am referring to the seats and floor of the cinema, not something dirty).

Working, until I can afford not to and trying to have some fun along the way.

Recently I've been avoiding being set up with girls by my family. They try to bring up the subject in every conversation. It troubles me.

Fixing things (computers, fridges, phones, etc).

Some girls say I sound hot on the phone, I haven't heard myself so I don't know..

B) Movies: Inception, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Stickmen, Layer Cake, Blazing Saddles, Robin Hood: Men In Tights, The Matrix
C) Shows: Breaking Bad (if you haven't seen it you are missing out!), Boardwalk Empire, Game Of Thrones, Mad Men (Christina Hendricks *drool*, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Fringe, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Mythbusters, The X Files, Top Gear, True Blood, United States of Tara.
D) Music: Muse, Metallica, The Killers, Rage Against The Machine, Tool, Faith No More, Nirvana, U2, Live and several more.
E) Foods: Steak! Japanese food (sushi AND ramen).

Since we're question is about things I could never "do without" not "live without" I can leave off things like oxygen, water, food, shelter, etc.

Oh, and I peel prawns with a knife and fork. I'm extremely good at it... and no smelly fingers!
