I’m an East coast transplant originally born and raised in Connecticut, out here for 3 years now. The lure of Southern California led me to UCLA for my MBA. (If you went to USC, I won’t hold it against you, I promise.) I’m biased, but I think living in Santa Monica, a few blocks from the beach in a walkable neighborhood, is as good as it gets.
I’m a nice balance of extrovert and introvert with a great circle of friends. I value a close-knit group of people I respect and trust, rather than a collection of 100 acquaintances, although I have no problem meeting and talking with new people.
In my spare time I’m a social drinker with a good amount of range. Depending on the mood, I could be perfectly happy drinking $3 Bud Lights at a dive bar, nursing a single-malt scotch, getting down on the dance floor, or making eardrums bleed at karaoke. The place is usually irrelevant to me; who you’re with is infinitely more important.
I work out regularly. I love my bootcamp class at the gym and recently started a boxing class. Tons of fun! I also like to play beach volleyball, and have played softball and flag football in the recent past. A few weeks ago, I joined a bowling league with a handful of friends. I also like doing trivia night at some local bars, hiking and going to the beach.
