I recently moved to LA from Chicago. And no, not to be in the film industry. Before Chicago I lived in Seattle. Before Seattle I lived in Vancouver, BC. Before Vancouver I lived in Houston, TX. And before that, I lived and grew up in Alberta, Canada. Yes, I'm Canadian. No, I'm not a lumberjack, and I won't say "about" for you.
I consider myself an artist of sorts. I dabble in just about any artform, particularly music, writing, welding (sculpture?), crafting food, making beer and wine, photography, and making videos.
I collect hobbies. Something I'm very passionate about is learning, collecting knowledge, and particularly, acquiring skills/crafts. Some have found this trait to be a little confusing. "What happened to your passion for pickling weird vegetables?" "Well, obviously I now know how to do it forever, so I'm now learning everything there is to know about Norse mythology. Duh." Maybe we can teach each other something. That sounds ideal.
I am addicted to coffee, in all it's forms. I love great whiskey and good beers. I like Whiskey bars, fancy cocktail bars, and dive bars. Outdoor markets and events, live music shows, karaoke, day trips, and spend a lot of my time trying to find the next adventure. I love camping, travelling, the beach, bicycling everywhere, hiking, board games, conventions, collecting and listening to records, playing guitar, photo adventures, climbing stuff, and I'm a damn good cook.
