My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Friendly, honest, with a sarcastic sense of humour and a bit of a geek streak... well maybe more than a bit!

I love music and sing and play guitar in a rock band. You can check us out here

I like to go climbing, but I'm not some sort of adrenaline junkie, I just think it's a great way of taking your mind of work because I have to concentrate so much on not falling off the wall! I also like all the usual stuff like cinema, tv, books - bit of a sci-fi/fantasy fan (getting into the Game of Thrones books at the moment) and enjoy a good DvD box set (24 and The Wire are a couple of my favourites).

I'm looking for someone intelligent, fun and independent, so if this sounds like you then get in touch!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Just finished my Ph.D in Chemistry and now working as an analyst at a strategy consulting firm in the city - yes, those two things are unrelated!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Remembering useless trivia (sometimes in place of important things), staying in bed when I should be getting up, staying up when I should be in bed, lazing on the sofa (not sure this is something to be proud of), self deprecation, wasting time on the internet searching for random trivia, singing (I think), eating as much as I like without putting on an ounce (sorry!)...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
People usually say my eyes, they are very blue!

Music: So much, but favourite bands include Biffy Clyro, Jimmy Eat World, Brand New, The Mars Volta, Queens of the Stone Age, Oceansize, Future of the Left, The Xcerts... stuff like that

A good, strong cup of tea
Bed (and all things associated with it)
I suppose the internet (it does know everything)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Everything, my mind is usually buzzing
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In the pub having a few drinks with friends, or in front of the tv

You have a thing for the scientist/rock star chic (if such a thing exists!).
