My self-summary
Hello to you and thank you for looking at my profile.

I am looking for my River Song (Hello Sweetie). Some of what makes me up are being humble, grateful, kindness (not a pushover) and compassionate to people. I love all animals, including spiders (I just leave them alone).

I just want to have an open and honest communication with a woman, to create an intimacy and with the right person a sexual intimacy. I can express my feelings and emotions in the moment. Also, express my wants and desires as well.

I am romantic for the right person and have been at a young age. I am open minded to life and people. I love to try anything once or more times if I am having fun. I have been horseback riding (twice - fell off the horse while it was running - no biggie the horse stopped which was what I wanted in the first place), flew in a Cessna and really enjoyed it.

I am modest but I have a high self-esteem and no I am not full of myself (I have never been). I say that my honesty is tied into my integrity which is tied into my self-esteem. Easy-Peasy.

I have not traveled much but I am looking for someone to do that with, among other things such as hiking and camping. I would like to try camping and see what it is all about. The smells and the fresh air of being outdoors is what I love.

I am on a journey to be a well rounded person - physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

I do have flaws and I am not perfect. It's more fun to explore each other and our flaws together, don't you think?

I have experienced much happiness, joy and sadness over the past few years of my life. I have grown also over the past 8 years more than I have ever done. I am very grateful for where I am in life and the people in my life.

My parents came to the US in from Italy. So I am 1st generation Italian.
What I’m doing with my life
For work I am an Instructional Technologist and I am one course away so at the end of Spring I am done! Yahoo! I have a degree in Electrical Engineering as well. It's kind of interesting how I got into this field of an Instructional Technologist and will tell if you ask.

I am a ham radio operator and amateur astronomer as well. I can teach you about the night time sky if you are curious.

Taking care of my cats (I am a dog person too but don't have one currently).

Starting to read books again which is great. I grew up reading many Sci- Fi books and Agatha Christie, when I was really young.

I re-started getting reiki done to me. In my mind it's a nice tune up for my body/mind/spirit. I feel extremely peaceful and very calm afterwards. You should try it sometime if you have never experienced it.

Facing my fears and hopefully having fun.

2016 is the year that I get into shape! I have started all ready and it feels good.
I’m really good at
I am a good listener and can provide feedback, if asked. I am emphatic as well. I have strong powers of observation and I have a strong attraction to the detail of things (objects/people) but I am loose most of the time.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have been told it's my deep Italian brown eyes. The other thing believe it or not, is my voice. I want to be that guy that reads books on tape/CDs or have my own radio show or podcasts.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books by Larry Niven, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Philip Dick, Dan Brown books and love them! I like to read S. King books esp. the Dark Tower series (I need to finish them).

I saw the movie about Alan Touring (The Imitation game - loved it!) and I have started to read about his life. I am also reading "The Man in the High Castle" by Philip Dick.

So I love, love Sci-Fi, including Dr. Who (Tom Baker was my first - Do you want a Jelly baby?) , Star Trek, BSG (Re-Boot and Original), B5, SGU, Firefly (I am aim to misbehave), Farscape, Archer (Are we not doing phrasing?), Dexter, The Office, Top Gear (How Hard Can It Be?), Fargo (TV version), Mr. Robot (I love it!) , X-Files, Always Sunny in Philadelphia and The Man In The High Castle (Amazon Production).

I am open to trying different foods and I have tried different dishes. I love Italian but it's in the gravy (or sauce as most people call it) it makes it or breaks it.

Music is mostly rock. I used to have many cassettes but they were thrown out by mistake. I do have a large CD collection. I do have a special place for NIN (their later stuff).
The six things I could never do without
The clear night time sky filled with stars...
A friend, a lover, a partner in crime (that's you)
My cats
The Internet but I can leave that alone at times.
Sunny days
First snow fall
A few books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Answer to Life, The Universe and Everything Else...Answer: 42 and that Bow-ties are cool!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I want to start a advanced spaceship propulsion company to send human beings to the stars and explore the universe (just kidding but there is a strong part of me that wants to do this), plus my b-day is christmas.
You should message me if
Wanting to be friends first and seeing where it takes us.
