My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Self-summary...? Well, I was born at a very early age. I was naked and hungry and I've been about the same ever since. Looking for someone with a similar backgroung.

I'm young at heart and have a quirkey since of humor. I like to laugh. In fact, it's required.

I like going to concerts and plays and dancing. And I like hanging out at home cooking, watching a video, having a glass of wine, cuddling on the couch. They don't call it a 'love seat' for nothing.

I like dressing up nice, going out and 'putting on the dog'. And I like hanging out in jeans.

I don't NEED to have someone to complete me, but would LIKE to have someone to round me out. Someone to go places with, and to hang out at home with. To do things with, or do nothing with, if that's what we decide.

I like being around positive people. Tell me something you believe in. It's easy to find something to doubt. I could do that on my own.

I am Creative, Spontaneous, and Easygoing
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm enjoying my life. I have a job I love in a beautiful area to live in. Kids are grown and doing well. Grandkids are growing and doing well. Aren't we all still growing up? The trick is to do it without growing OLD in the process.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Well, I'm really good at creative things. Especially things of a theatrical nature. Both for stage and for video/film. Still photography also. I've done a lot of theater. Both acting and directing.

I used to be a pretty good guitar player. And sing some. Don't play much now. That's a story in itself. But I intend to change that soon. Real soon. in fact I'm changing it now.

I can grill up one helluva steak. Or, whatever domesticated farm animal you would rather have.

And I've also got a green thumb.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
From a distance it would be my hair. When they got a little closer they'd notice my eyes. Then after a little "face time" they would notice my since of humor and my smile.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I like non-fiction and fiction. As long as it is good, imparts at least some kind of new information and makes me think. Even the lighter escape fiction. One of my favorites recently though is, "It's Getting Ugly Out There" by Jack Cafferty. And I read magazines. From Rolling Stone to Newsweek. Hell, I still read the back of the cereal box.

Movies: Kinda like books. I like all kinds as long as the are good. Even the escapest kind. It's more convient for me to mostly rent them and watch at home. But there are some that need to be seen in the theater. I love classic movies. "To Kill A Mockingbird", "Casablanca", The Petrified Forest" (Odd that Bogart is in the last two? I don't know. You'll have to judge.)

Music: Ahh, music. To soothe the savage beast. Gotta have the music. It's always been a big part of my life, in lots of different ways. Love the Blues!!! And everything that came from the Blues. Rock, Country, R&B... Once again, it's got to be good. Don't want no crap; and that's MOST of Rap. (Hey, there's MY rap.) But there is even some Rap that has some redeeming qualities. Dylan, Beatles, Stones, Van Morrison, Elvis, Hank Williams Sr., Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent, Jimmy Reed, Elmore James, Robert Johnson, Edith Piaf, Billie Holiday, Dave Brubeck,........ And the beat goes on.

Food: One of my favorite things. All kinds. Italian, Oriental, German, Seafood, Cajun, Steaks and just "good ol' cookin'". All kinds. But my all time favorites, that I could eat every day, (and have many times in the past) are... drum roll, please... it's a tie, between Barbecue and Mexican!!!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My kids and grandkids...

2. Good food...

3. A good laugh...

4. Good conversation...

5. Work I enjoy doing...

6. Female intimacy, you know, sex...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The meaning of life... Well, that and what I'm having for dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Unless something is planned I pretty much hang out close to home and unwind from the week. I love my job; but it keeps me pretty busy. So it's nice to have an evening to just take it easy and not think about going to work the next day.

But, sometimes get some dinner with friends. I usually do my "going out" on Saturday. The thing is, having a good time, or doing something interesting doesn't have a set day, a set time, or a set place.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Things between you and me,... we'll keep private. Most everything about me is pretty open. Just ask...
