My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm John. I'm a smart, easy going guy. I'm pretty brave, not afraid to meet people, or go to new places. I have a great love of adventure that leads me to do a lot of random things that may or may not end well.

I like science and math and I use a lot of math and physics in my daily job. But I'm also a guy who went to school for Art as well as Engineering and I mix those things together. I can hold a good conversation on Politics, Physics, Economics, Psychology, and Religion as well as fake many others.

I recently moved into a new apartment with a lot of empty walls so I've been painting after a long lapse. I did smaller paintings and then one large one a city sky line inspired by Van Gogh's starry night

I dress in a way that is kind of exaggerated normal. I never wear anything with logos. I wear almost exclusively collared shirts. My closet is a little like a cartoon character's its full of the same shirt in various styles, colors, and dressiness. So a collared shirt, jeans (and a blazer if I can find an excuse) is almost always how I'm dressed. Some people mistake it for being uninspired but its a very deliberate and probably weird choice. Its sort of my thing in the same way that some people like to dress punk.

I watch eccentric comedies, science fiction, some good animes, and the news mostly. Despite the sci-fi and the anime I swear I'm not some weird shut in.

I'm not religious. I'm not hostile towards religion unless your very serious or conservative about it. I live by the rule you're much better doing something then worshiping something.

Try to take trips when possible, I like to travel. I recently went to Honolulu for a couple of weeks and I've been up and down the east cost along with a San Francisco. I'm going to Vegas next month and to Maui in may. Me and my friends have taken trips to museums in other cities and we go camping a lot

I've been described as a very even keeled guy. Or more particularly that nothing impresses me. Really though I just save excitement for the truly exciting things.

I'm on a dating site I guess because I don't meet women except at bars and that is a bad place to meet women. Plus I'm picky.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
When people ask me what I do I like to respond to this question with mad-scientist because people take that easier than what I really do. I'm a self employed software developer. I co-own a company that made a video game and as of recently it's been quite successful. I work from home and am my own boss so that makes my schedule crazy flexible.

I've been dabbling in stand up comedy lately just as a hobby.

Also I'm going to be President in 20-30 years.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Science, Math, Poker, Cooking, Public Speaking, Drawing, Painting
Occasionally I can be pretty funny
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Depending on my mood you'll either notice that I'm exuding confidence and charm or exuding absolute disinterest

Some tv shows I like Venture Brothers, Adventure Time, Dr Who, Archer, Frisky Dingo, 12oz Mouse, Super Jail, Stargate, Full Metal Alchemist, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex, Death Note. My movie taste is basically the same as my tv taste not that I've been to the movies in years.

I like some older stuff like the Rolling Stones and some newer stuff like mumford and sons and the lumineers. I also enjoy a lot of obscure stuff, mostly stuff I've heard in tv or video games first. (The Seatbelts for example, they're kind of a jazz band)

I play alot of video games (its business research) bioshock, fallout, baldurs gate, zelda, half life, max payne are some of my favorites.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My apartment and activities for the weekend. I hate not doing things.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Solutions to problems grand (political, social economical) and small (equations, algorithms, event plans)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At a bar or hanging out with my friends or on what ever the event of the weekend happens to be. Hopefully something interesting.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I occasionally talk to my self but it’s more of a thinking out loud thing than a crazy thing.
