Hey, my name is John and I'm originally from a small town in
Illinois. I am usually pretty shy at first but once I get to know
someone that changes. I have a silly sense of humor and have been
known to be quite random. I prefer to be outdoors than being inside
or in a city. I enjoy mountain biking, hiking, backpacking,
watching movies, listening to music, reading, and gaming.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a computer programmer (not the usual military job) for
the Air Force. Other than that, I'm attempting to get a B.S. in
Computer Science.
I’m really good at
I like to think I'm a good listener. Works well with the shyness
part.

Some of my favorite books are Lord of the Rings, Choke, Enders
Game, House of Leaves, Heroes Die, 1984, Survivor, The Plague, The
Stranger, and Rant.
Favorite movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pans Labyrinth, Raiders of the Lost Ark, the original Star Wars, Bladerunner, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Oldboy, Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Amelie, Wall-E, Up, Gladiator. Anything by Wes Anderson; Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, The Darjeerling Limited. I'm also a big horror movie nerd. I'm always watching the cheap horrors that play all day saturday on Sci-Fi.
