Hey! Thanks for visiting my profile. And now, my entire life story. Nah, just kidding! (Maybe.)

First off, I love talking to people. Getting to know them, seeing what they like, it's awesome. Interviewing was my favorite part of my college newspaper job. If you love something a ton, I'd love to talk about it!

I love traveling to new places and trying new things. New locations, experiences and tastes keep me going. I am always up for trying out a new location or a weird food. Only left the country twice though! I'm a local explorer. (Of all the places I've been, my absolute favorite is New Orleans, by the way.)

I am also just generally easygoing. I know, that's a word tossed out a million times in these profiles, but it's true! I've learned that getting all wound up and angry is just too much work, and it's way more fun to see what happens and take it easy. So yeah, I'm lazy. But in a good way!

So that's me! I'd love to talk to you, whether you just want to be friends or if you're up for going out to something fun.

Right now, just working to get by so I can do what I want. I love writing and working with computer networks, but right now I am doing temp stuff. Not exciting, I know, but what can you do!

As for when I feel like wasting some time, I am big into video games and watching TV shows and movies on Netflix.

Finding a really bad pun. Oh yeah, and saying something extremely smart and insightful! Yeah.

My glasses, I bet. Picked them up off the cheap rack at my optometrist's, and I still get compliments.

Books:
I love Vonnegut a ton, and Cat's Cradle and Sirens of Titan might be my favorite books. Right now I am reading Bluebeard (Vonnegut, naturally) and The Family by Jeff Sharlet and The Four-Hour Body for my new diet.

Movies:
I love all kinds of movies, including action, comedy, sci-fi and adventure. Some of my recent faves are Taken, The Departed, Zombieland, The Other Guys and Robocop.

Music:
Oh man, so much. My biggest favorites right now are Wolf Parade and The New Pornographers, who are both brilliant. Otherwise, I like what I guess is called indie rock as well as power pop and good nineties grunge like The Afghan Whigs.

I'm also a big gamer. Shooters, platformers, pen-and-paper, I am for them all. A couple of recent faves are Left 4 Dead 2, Black Ops and Persona 3 Portable (obscure PSP RPG, I know, nerding out).

As for food, I always go for Mexican and Chinese. Chipotle and Panda Express keep me going these days, mainly because I can get a salad or veggies instead of a ton of rice and bread.

Different stories I can write or just mull over in my head when I get bored.

Ideally, hanging out with friends and going to concert (usually at the Granada, if I can make it). If not that, I'm usually playing a game online with some out-of-town friends.

I really enjoyed RuPaul's Drag Race way too much. There, I said it, I'd say it again.
