My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a meat-head blue collar worker and a slacker burnout. With an odd sense of humor.

I work during the day, study remedial math during the evening, and spend my weekends reading books and screwing around with power tools.

한국말 하는 사람을 만나고 싶어! 요즘 한국어를 할 기회 별로 없고 실력을 잃어버리겠다~ 그러니 이글 읽을 수 있는 친구와 사뀌고 싶어. 메세지 보내 주세요.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Continually working towards personal growth. But that is pretty much what everyone is doing, isn't it?

I figure if I can learn at least one new thing every day, the day is not wasted.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
long cruises in Wikipedia. Somehow banality seems so much more interesting with an overly detailed synopsis obsessively footnoted with trivialities.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm usually pretty quiet, so people take that to mean I'm very smart, or very stupid. I don't speak much because I don't want to disabuse them of the first or confirm the second.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I generally prefer writing that is tight and economical. I tend to gravitate towards eccentric low-brow fiction, like wuxia novels, 60's socialist science fiction, and so on. I've read my share of science fiction and I'm in a science fiction book club.

For movies my tastes run more towards Abel Ferrara and Seijun Suzuki than Steven Speilberg or Akira Kurosawa. I will watch anything made by Bong Joon-ho.

I like any music that's good music. My brother is a musician and is pretty enthusiastic over exotic genres, and he's introduced me to a lot of cool stuff that's slightly out of the mainstream, like Tropicalia or gamelan music.

I have a pretty crude palate so I've never been much of a food person. I'm a big eater, though, and I enjoy my meals.

My favorite two Youtube videos are "Cat and Bukowski Wax Philosophical About Life" and "Werner Herzog Reads Curious George".
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
are my computer, my Ko-Eng dictionary, coffee + coffee + coffee + coffee.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I was diagnosed with ADD fairly recently, so apparently there is a medical explanation for the fact that I'm thinking about anything and everything except the task at hand.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Getting much needed rest. I'm not really one for going out often. I'd rather putter around on the various little projects I pick up or work at the ever-accumulating piles of unread books. If I have the chance I like do some hiking on the weekends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This seems like the place to put uncomfortable awkward facts that should be said but are difficult to bring up.

My last relationship lasted eight years, and I was engaged, but it didn't really work out.

My educational missteps have left me with a really massive load of debt, relative to both my current and projected potential income.

You want to practice speaking Asian languages. Or hang out and try to nerd-snipe each other or tinker with odd projects, like trying to accurately measure a room's acoustics or plan out nomadic furniture designs. Or just talk about books.
