I value possibilities over practicalities. While I appreciate tradition, I have little use for conformity. I guess I should explain my response to drinking often. I like to have a glass of red wine with my dinner. While I don't have one every night, truth in advertising dictates that I answer as I did. I also enjoy a dark beer or a decent cocktail. I highly doubt you will ever see me "drunk" as I really dislike losing control. If you have a few too many though, no worries - I'll look out for you and keep you safe. :)

I love riding my motorcycle and I also like riding my sofa. Wanna go for a ride? Give me an evening on the couch with a good movie and a bottle of wine anytime.

I like to peruse used furniture and antique stores looking for cool old kitchen stuff.

Lake Winnepesauke, Cape Cod and the islands make for great weekend or day trips. I enjoy RVing and I'm anxious to get another motorhome when the time is right again.

I like going to concerts at Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion in Gilford, New Hampshire. I've got Inner Circle Gold membership there so I get good seats and have access to the Red Stripe club.

I like to head to New Hampshire for bike week and I especially like seeing the motorcycle hillclimbs. I've got a lot of friends and their kids racing in them so I enjoy hanging out and helping in the pits. It's a lot of fun. I always have a place to stay with friends up there or I can use my brother's cottage on Cow Island on Lake Winnepesauke, but that requires use of a boat. :)

I love the smell and feel of the ocean and swimming, snorkeling and SCUBA diving in warm water. I haven't been diving in years, but I really want to do it again. I guess I was spoiled by my time on Guam and I've only made 2 dives since returning.

I believe that above most else, ya gotta laugh. It's life's natural anti-depressant. If you can't laugh at yourself, I'll do it for ya!

I've been known to fall asleep in the recliner or stretched out on the wicker sofa on my screened-in porch. My porch is well equipped: gas grille, TV, fridge, meat smoker, mood lighting and comfortable furniture. I've been known to enjoy a cigar or 2 out there too.

I consider myself to be sapiosexual. If you even know what it means, I'm possibly already attracted to you. :)

I believe that foreplay should last for hours and that the most powerful erogenous zone is between your ears, but I know a few more too. :) I'm a very physical being. I'm a big fan of touch and taste and there are certain smells that drive me insane (in a very nice way).

I believe in complete and total honesty. If you're always honest, you don't have to remember what you said and with my memory, it's so much easier that way. ;-)

I make a great Martini and an equally good Margarita. I love dark beers, red wines, cooking, grilling, smoking food and just about anything that burns gasoline!

I love to BBQ and I'm a pretty good cook. I love sushi and virtually all seafood.

I have 2 wonderful kids that mean the world to me. They're both grown and out of the house. My daughter has given me 3 grandchildren that I adore. My first grandson was born on my birthday which was undoubtedly the best birthday gift I've ever received.

I'm sorry but for the most part, cigarettes are a deal breaker for me. I gave the up for the 3rd and final time about 25 years ago and I just can't take them any more. You can smoke anything you want around me except cigarettes. I do enjoy a good cigar every now and then, but never in the house or another enclosed space.

Right now I'm just taking things slow and easy. One of these days I hope to retire and have a home in New Hampshire or Maine and head to Florida (or ???) for the winter months. A dream (or maybe a fantasy) of mine has always been to own and run an RV park. I worked at one as a kid and stayed at many with my motorhome and with my family when growing up. It may not be realistic, but hey, ya gotta dream, right? :)

I'm searching for the woman that I will love forever. In the process I imagine I will meet more people, have some fun and make some good friends.

I'm also working on dropping some weight again. I'm a big guy. Teddy bear big, but not quite John Goodman big. I'm comfortable with myself, but I still want to drop a few pounds.

Fixing things, figuring out how to do things, cooking. Finding the best deal on just about anything. Digging up all sorts of information on the internet. Listening. Being a friend. Caring. Books: I don't read as much now as I once did. I guess that nowadays I spend my free time elsewhere. My favorite author was always Robert Heinlein. I grok.

Music: I like a wide variety of music. Some of my favorites are Nine Inch Nails (my all time favorite), Neil Young, Cowboy Junkies, The Lords of Acid, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Captain Beefheart (another huge favorite of mine), Michael Yonkers Band and Eric Clapton. Just about anything except hip-hop.

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill (1&2), Bad Boy Bubby (very dark and disturbing, but wonderful), The Godfather (1&2), The Usual Suspects, Secretary (2002), No Country for Old Men.

Food: I love food. Rare beef, most any seafood, sushi... bring it on! About the only thing I don't care for is asparagus and most mushrooms.

Friends, family, freedom... other than food, air and water, what else do you really need?
