My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Mellowest guy you would ever meet... until I lived in Missoula, MT for three years; now I'm a bit twitchy. (Long story.) Being awake and coherent before noon is against my religion. When the sun goes down; my 'day' is just beginning. There is not much better than a warm summer night. I am tacky, ornery, and slap-happy. In the winter I drive with the heat on and the windows rolled down. I do what I can to enjoy life and try to include my close friends whenever possible. Which is why I'm here: single-friends tend to be more open to spending time together... and I don't have as many single-friends as I once did.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Living one day at a time.

I moved to Spokanistan to decompress from college (nine years straight culminating in three Associate degrees): live life with no responsibility to no one or thing other than the voices in my head.

UPDATE: *ACK* Spokane has somehow sucked seven years off my life. Gross. Looks like I've finally managed to loosen the grip Spokompton has on me. I win! I'm now living in The Couv'!

I'm horribly unprepared for cardio required for the coming Zombie Apocalypse... I've started "working out", which is a totally new concept to me... I've always laughed at people that not only like working out, but also include it as a hobby. So we'll see how this new aspect of my life pans out.

UPDATE: I've stopped extra physical activity. Don't have time for it. (Srsly, working 50ish hour weeks over here!) Leaving this here as a guilty reminder for when my life returns to something resembling normal.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am by no means shy, but I can be a bit quiet. (This confuses people.) Thus, I may not be an open book, but nor am I a locked diary. I am a listener and observer above all else, which tends to make those who hide things uneasy. This amuses me. MWAHAHAHA!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
BOOKS: Anything by: Douglas Adams, Michael Chrichton, Robert Kirkman, Stephen King, Chuck Palahniuk.

MOVIES: 40 Year-Old Virgin, Batman (Nolan-verse), Fight Club, Frailty, Grosse Pointe Blank, (anything by) Kevin Smith, Marvel Cinematic Universe, Matrix, Prometheus (really any Alien related movie except the fourth one), Shaun of the Dead, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Super Troopers, Terminator 1 & 2, Trapped, When Harry Met Sally, Whip It. (The list goes on nearly forever, but this is a good cross section.)

TV: A-Team, Archer, Community, Cops, Deadliest Catch, Dexter, Family Guy, Fringe, House, LOST, MacGyver, Newsroom, OitNB, Quantum Leap, Rescue Me, Sons of Anarchy, Stargate (any), ST: TNG & DS9, Walking Dead, Wilfred, Weeds.

MUSIC: AC/DC... to ...ZZ Top. I try to see concerts/shows as often as possible. Also, a sizable fraction of the people I hang out with are karaoke addicts. Lucky for me they're pretty damn good at it. My musical abilities? Ha! I sing like an amputee: can't hold a note can't carry a tune. Oh, and, I can shred on a (Guitar Hero / Rock Band) guitar (on medium difficulty).

FOODS: Mexican, bacon, Italian, bacon, American, oh and ummm... bacon smothered in cheddar.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
All I need is three...

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When I'm not arguing with the voices in my head? Friends, girls, traveling, Star Trek, bacon, the coming Zombie Apocalypse...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Comfortably numb... or asleep. I work weekends.

Saturdays and Sundays often involved roller derby when I lived in Spokane. My roommate was the primary announcer for most of the leagues in the Eastern Washington / North Idaho areas. Bad-ass girls in fish nets whippin' around a track. Good stuff. Doubt things will change much now that we're an area with the second ranked derby team in the world.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I read Star Trek books. (This does not include fan-fic!) I suppose most would put them on the level of trashy romance novels? They are by no means high literary art, but I find them entertaining. *shrugs*

...you: need/want a friend, are simply curious, etc. I'm not here to find a date per se... I don't date people I don't know... (I find modern dating rituals / rules; archaic & wasteful...) i.e. I'm not one to 'ask out' someone based soley on a first impression... thus, I'm here to meet people and make friends. C'mon, I don't bite... ok, I do... but I don't get (too many) complaints.

I have several friends that utilize this site as well. You're welcome to contact them to see if you can dig up any dirt on me. ;p (Ordered in most dirt-knowledge potential to least:) SupaCuteFatChic, DrPhilsPills, tinytall & thayameaust.
