Hanging out with friends, watching a DVD, reading, out on my motorbike, working, or working out in my garage. Not all at the same time, although the first two have been known to overlap.

It's not exactly private, but more of a quirk of mine. The vast majority of my visits to the cinema are on my own for 11am weekday showings around four to five weeks after a film's release date. Having a cinema all to yourself is awesome. I highly recommend it. This alone is enough reason to not work a nine to five.
