I'm John. I'm somewhat quiet when I meet new people, but when I warm up to someone its usually well worth it. I'm a very loyal and honest person. I try to live my life by doing things that I feel really mean something to me rather than might merely satisfy me at this moment. I'm easygoing, have a pretty open mind, and I'm not very quick to judge people.

I'd probably say I'm happiest when outside. I love hiking, backpacking, geocaching, camping, snowboarding, and biking. I love to see new and different places. I have this thing for finding interesting restaurants and eateries to test claims of the best hot dogs, or clam chowder, or burgers, etc. Also, I love driving on long trips down highways I've never been before.

I love spending time with good, honest people. I'm always up for a good concert. I always enjoy having a drink or two with friends, but I usually don't go too crazy. I'd much rather spend a night being close to someone special than going out to a party.

I love listening to music and the fact that there is always something different out there to listen to.

Right now I'm a junior at Fitchburg State College. My major is History/Secondary Education and I hope to someday become a high school history teacher.
