My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I guess I'd describe myself as something of an introverted but well meaning fellow. I'd like to think of myself as a pretty funny, easy going and relatively intelligent person with some interesting insights on specific subjects, but then I suppose I would say that wouldn't I? My sense of humour tends to delve into the sarcastic, silly and macabre. I may tell the odd joke that you might think to be crude, but I like to think I have enough tact about me not to go too far over the line. As of now, I've never been in any kind of relationship. Yep, I'm a 22 year old virgin. Feel free to laugh. I'm not sure how big of an issue/possible deal breaker this is going to be for some of you, but there it is. Consequently, it would probably be more accurate to say I'm bi-curious rather than bisexual as I'm still not entirely certain about my sexuality, but I'm open to the prospect of relationships with men and women. I'm a pretty shy individual and not having any real experience in this sort of thing might make me a tad nervous, but once I really get know/click with someone then I'm perfectly alright talking to them.

I had/have aspirations of becoming a Screenwriter and even took a course to pursue this at Bournemouth University though I never really adjusted to the new surroundings and ended up dropping out. I still harbour a passion for film and for writing and if nothing else hope to continue crafting stories as a cathartic means of self expression, though I realised from the beginning that it's not exactly a realistic career path to pursue and treat it more as a hobby whilst I look for work. I'm currently unemployed, living with my parents and don't really have any plans for the future but I'm looking to find something to keep myself busy, earn some money and help regain a sense of assiduity in my life.

I'm probably not in the best position to give an accurate appraisal of myself, so the best way to get to know about me is just to talk to me. I won't bite. Chewing through a liquid screen is kind of tricky.

For someone who took an English Lit course at A-Level it's amazing how scarcely I read, but I suppose my favourite book would be 1984.

TV Shows: The Wire, The Sopranos, Mad Men, Peep Show, Scrubs, 30 Rock, The Thick of It, South Park, The Simpsons (up until about 2003 or so), The Inbetweeners, Gavin and Stacey, The Office, The Ricky Gervais Show, Lead Balloon, The Boondocks, Life On Mars, Daria, Dilbert, 8 Out of Ten Cats, QI, Match of the Day, Lucky Star, K-On!, The Critic, Dan Vs, Archer, Home Movies, Metalocalypse, etc.

Also there's a lot stuff like Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Treme and Breaking Bad that I've heard good things about and want to get into but haven't gotten around to yet.

Film: I like films by Martin Scorsese, Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, Park Chan-Wook, Danny Boyle and Christopher Nolan among others.

I like to play video games, though I've been a little sporadic about it in recent years, so I've built up something of a backlog and I'm not really up to date with current releases. That said, some of my favourite series include Half-Life, Portal, Mass Effect, Metal Gear Solid, GTA and Assassins Creed.

Most of the music I listen to would fall under Metal/Rock, though as trite as it is to say, I like a little bit of everything. I'm always open to discovering new acts/genres and I would consider myself something of an eclectic in this regard. Variety is the spice of life and whatnot. Take a gander at my page if you want to get an idea of the kind of things I'm into:

Comedians: Louis CK, Bill Hicks, George Carlin, Charlie Brooker, Mitchell and Webb, Russel Howard, Ricky Gervais, Reg D Hunter, Jack Whitehall, Jack Dee, Frankie Boyle, Jimmy Carr, Jon Richardson, Dara O'Brien, Lee Evans etc.

You have low standards? Or if you're just looking for someone to make you laugh, make you think, keep you company and support you? Maybe you just find my rambling endearing? :3
