My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello! Welcome to my nutshell. Recently renovated, the lighting is great! My love of beer and wine is counteracted by my love of coffee, which both help for creativity and productivity for my occupation. My love of watching soccer/football/hockey is counteracted by my enjoyment of playing pick up soccer and getting out to run or hike. And sometimes I am socializing with board games or a night on the town. Do one or more of these sound fun? Great!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
preparing to be an awesome teacher (still have to find my tweed jacket with elbow patches though...). I just finished Graduate school in Seattle, so it's a quick transition from student - teacher this summer.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Withholding judgement, time management (when i need to schedule it), procrastinating(when I don't schedule myself). I could probably spend hours in wine bottle shop looking at all the different varieties if given the chance, and then go back to whatever my first impulse was. Never refusing a good IPA. Waiting until the last minute to make plans. Not being as sporadic as I would like to (maybe where you come in?).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
most definitely my eyes, they change color between blue and green in relation to what I am wearing, so they draw attention to themselves. so selfish those eyes are...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I wind up reading more plays than anything, some recent favorites are: The boy on the edge of the universe, Stop Kiss, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (musical), The Liquid Plain.

(said in the style of DR. Horribles Sing-Along Blog)Movies!> big sci-fi, action fan, one of my favorites is the Firefly/serenity combo, as well as Lord of the rings, harry potter, and the matrix. action movies like the avengers and iron man are always good to watch as well. that being said, other iconic movies i like are: Eternal Sunshine for the spotless mind, Sideways, and Oh Brother where art thou to name a few.

Some shows i like are Firefly (yes again, its that good), How I met your mother, Battlestar gallactica, Lost, and Dr who. Oh and i think Dr. Horrible belongs down Here? sure why not.

Music! Is quite important to me and getting through life, whether to tune out for a while, or to help focus on work. I have been on a huge muscials' soundtrack kick recently, Springs Awakening, Murder Ballad, American Idot have all been on short rotation. Aside from that. I lean towards rock/pop punk with some ska as well. New Found Glory sits atop the list, with other bands like Panic! at the disco, paramore, less than Jake, flogging molly and Coheed and Cambria as well. adding to the list currently is Avicii and pretty lights,

Love a good burger, and bacon will always be close to my heart. and great mac n' cheese and/or grilled cheese. yum. But seriously, Thai, mexican, italian, american are all good choices for me. and spice! I like heating things up when possible.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Companionship, Music, COFFEE, craft beer/Wine, sunshine, hockey
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Theater. what i need to do. what i am forgetting that I need to do. that I should start working on what I am going to do after I graduate. also continually trying to balance work and rest periods! This is where going for a walk/hike/adventure would be great (hint hint).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
relaxing with a few friends after a long week, and maybe going out to play pool or just hang out at a bar, or playing rockband when the occasion arises.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to hang out over a drink and chat just as much as going out and finding a trail or something else nature has to offer.
Have some place new to explore in the city.
have a super cool coffee shop to visit.
know a cool music show coming up.

If you think we would have fun together :)
