Seven years widowed, into carpentry most of my life and now laying
out and installing architectural panels throughout the northeast,
mostly on commercial buildings. Have been into canoe racing for
over 25 years and have done well enough at it to make teams that
have competed in different aspects of paddling all over the world.
Have always traveled near and far, for short and long periods of
time. Enjoy spending time with family and friends.
What I’m doing with my life
Experiecing semi-retirement and trying to figure where I will end
up. Possibly warmer climates for the winter months. Not sure if I'd
like to own a second home or rent in areas I find intoxicating. The
trouble with settling on one place is the grass always looks
greener somewhere else. Have some favorite places throughout the
world and it might be nice to bounce around. This leaves me to
better organizing what I have accumulated over a lifetime.
Bought a cabin in the smoky mts of north Carolina last year and
have spent some time working to fix up and plan on visiting a few
times a year. Still have the travel bug and that should make for an
interesting future. Might consider relocating to NC in a couple of
years and use that as a base for living.
I’m really good at
Geography, finding my way. Fitting in with different people and
places. Using humor for creating a comfortable atmosphere.
