My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm looking for chemistry and conversation. There is only so long two people can spend naked, the rest of the time sparkling conversation is the best thing in the world.

One of my favorite quotes of all time:

It was funny how people were people everywhere you went, even if the people concerned weren’t the people the people who made up the phrase ‘people are people everywhere’ had traditionally thought of as people...

-Sir Terry Pratchett "The Fifth Elephant"
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I spend my days pushing electrons around, in one form or another. I get to have the occasional bout as a handy-man as well (usually on the level of helping friends build or tear down sets, but do ask me about the Gimme-Shelter Festival I helped put together - it's one of my prouder moments in life), but mostly I make computers dance.

I setup my art table again not too long ago. I'd forgotten how satisfying it is to sit at a blank sheet of paper, plump the depths of line and shade, and come up with something new. Currently I'm really enjoying making a series of mandala pieces. Check the Instagram album in my pics for the set...
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
In no particular order, and as they occur to me:

-I can make delicious banana bread (the secret is a light dusting of cinnamon on top)
-sarcastically yelling at the radio when some politician is obviously wrong.
-I can wiggle my ears separately. Still working on the one-eyebrow-raise though.
-I'm a fair amateur masseuse
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have had more than a few people insist that I must be Italian, or Spanish upon first meeting. (In actuality my ancestry skews German, but mostly I'm a mutt.) That or the bass voice. "A deep rumble, made for radio" so I've been told.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Network Access (the internet is the repository of all human knowledge after all)
-A good belly laugh, shared with family over a meal
-My Canine Companion (whom I do not have yet, but let me know if you have a line on a pup who needs a home)
-A good challenge with which to wrangle
-the Snooze-Bar
-Evolution (which led to coffee and taste-buds, a great combination)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why does no one ever get the reference when I say "sleep well, and dream of large women..."?

Designs for my next tattoo. Either the symbol of Man's Life by Campbell (ver. II in progress - see above), or one that says "Now is the Time, Here is the Place."

My next tech project. Latest idea is to make a portable version of Netflix, using a RaspberryPi, open source software, and some elbow grease...

The importance of privacy and how to secure our Rights against an increasingly hostile government.

Just being flabbergasted at the harm that comes from treating metaphoric stories as literal instructions.

Marveling at the possibilities inherent in current tech trends. You realize we might live long enough to see real space travel, and immortality? Blows my mind sometimes ...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
The highest likelihood is that I will be found strolling the halls of one of our city's fine museums. I'm an adherent to the idea that Art, great Art, can lift the spirit and infuse one's life with beauty.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
