I am highly affectionate, trustworthy, and VERY sentimental.

My Self-Summary

I consider myself one of those people who open up to others when I feel comfortable around them. It's my current adaptation to what I think is social awkwardness. Once I'm comfortable with someone, I'm friendly, fairly funny (dark humor and sarcasm) and witty, affectionate, considerate, and in extreme cases, quirky.

I'm a philosopher at heart. Debating about anything and everything for me is great conversation. Ironically I've never been on a debate team before. I'm an opinionated person, and if I'm in the debating mood, expect me to stick to my guns on a subject, especially when it comes to politics (moderate-liberal, by the way).

I'm a lazy person and not afraid to admit it. I procrastinate, but if I'm pushed to do something, then I do it. I need motivation to overcome procrastination. It works!

I'm a major computer geek, enjoy gaming, playing pool, and going to the movies. I'm also a long-time weather hobbyist.

I'm a lover, not a fighter (I know, I know, cliche...).

What I’m doing with my life

I'm currently working on my major in Accounting at Queens College. I do have a few city jobs lined up should something not go as planned.

I'm actively attempting to get into a habit of bettering my physical fitness with weight training being my top activity.

I’m really good at

I'm really good at fixing computers, writing poetry (sappy, ain't it?), consoling others, being a mediator, cuddling, working with Photoshop, giving advice...

I used to be really good at playing trumpet, but my days of playing are long gone (even though I still remember how to play).

The first things people usually notice about me

I've had a "nice eyes" streak for a while, so the color of my eyes are possibly most noticeable... that, and my height. The second most noticeable thing about me would be my shyness. I'm a shy guy and I've been told that on countless occasions (That doesn't stop me from being a good person, though.)

Back in my early teen years, my curly blond hair was definitely the most noticeable feature about me (now, it only shows itself when I let it grow out).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm into rock, metal, alternative, progressive rock and progressive metal, including:
Opeth, Busdriver, Primus, Skindred, System of a Down, Alice in Chains, Devin Townsend, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, Faith No More, Disturbed, Soilwork, Slipknot, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, Michael Jackson, Pearl Jam, Mushroomhead, Mr. Bungle, Valve Studio Orchestra, Karnivool, Guns N' Roses, Nine Inch Nails, Lovage, Serj Tankian, Queen, Oingo Boingo, The Smashing Pumpkins, Tomahawk, Pantera, KoЯn, Buckethead, Dream Theater, In Flames, The Offspring, Fantômas, Gorillaz, Rob Zombie, Creed, Weezer, Frank Zappa, Cage the Elephant, Marilyn Manson, The Bird and the Bee, ZZ Top, Peeping Tom, Arctic Monkeys, and more!

Favorite All-time Movie: Back to the Future (the entire series)
Other favorites include: Phonebooth, Crash, Fight Club, Sweeney Todd, Pirates of the Caribbean, SAW (only the first few...), The Dark Knight, ...

Favorite Movie / Book genres: Thrillers/Suspense, Comedy, Action, Mystery, Drama, Horror, Romance (in small doses).

Food: I'm a picky eater at times. I do, however, enjoy Italian, Spanish, and Chinese cuisines. I LOVE mozzarella sticks.

The six things I could never do without

A computer
My family
An outlet to express my love (other than my family)
Music
Spell-check (>_>)
Time

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My future, in general.

More specifically...
What I'm going to do / where I'll be years from now, if I did or did not do homework that is due in class, what's for dinner...

...and also about that one girl that will take my breath away and never give it back (still sappy, right?).

On a typical Friday night I am

...wishing I had someone (yep, definitely sappy).

Oh, and probably doing a combination of the following: playing games on my computer, talking to a friend or family member (especially my younger brother), listening to music or looking for new music to listen to, doing... homework (yes, I know, geeky, but when you're in college, not doing it bites you in the ass most of the time), lurking on the Internet, and thinking about the weekend.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I don't care how non-masculine it sounds, but cuddling is probably the best thing there is for a loving couple.

That, and sex.

Actually, both are great, but cuddling makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. :D
