My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
(update: Just to be on the level with peoples, I am in an awesome relationship with an awesome gal, but being friends is cool! I like friends.)

Who am I, is that not the eternal question?

Well, I am pretty nerdy. I love board games.
And I pride from time to time in being a dork.
I look for amusement wherever I can find it.
I am strange, in a strange way and I cultivate my weirdness.

Also, if you think board games are boring, don't see the point of them, or are somehow just weird? This is for you. :]
There's a whole world beyond monopoly!

Oh! Also, it isn't a dealbreaker if you're not as into board games as I am. As passionate as I am about structured forms of play, it's not my only defining quality nor require it of others. But, it's rad if you're games-curious.

I recently moved to Edmonds to work at the Round the Table Gamer Pub. It's been a blast so far. I'm really happy to be working around people I like and with a subject I love.

I like fiddling around with writing sometimes. Here's a thing I wrote.

Sing sweet, or sharp, play your song.
Summate for me feeling and thought.
Skills and verve to express gone long.
Speech that mine tongue hath forgot.

I like alliterations.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
A few years ago, life went pear shaped, wibbly wobbly, turned into a bowl of petunias, and then several other things until stabilizing.

More recently than that, I have been working at the Round the Table Gamer Pub!

Finding work in games has been something I've wanted to do for a long while, so I'm quite happy about what I've achieved so far.

Someone said that life is about the journey, more than the destination. Sometimes, I like to think that they are one in the same.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like board games. A vast, wide majority of them.

I was a math tutor for going on almost 4 years.

I can make horrible puns like the best of them. I have a perverse enjoyment of torturing English as far as I can take it. It might come from the idea that language itself is sort of a farce.

On a good day I'm a pretty ok vocalist. I like singing along to music and in the shower. And sometimes funny voices when it's called for.

And finding humor in things that weren't necessarily meant to be funny.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The Bowler Hat. People see that first and usually from blocks away.

Side Note: I thought I wanted the hat when I was 12, and when I was 22 I finally decided on it and got one and never looked back.

I find it helps accentuate my ruggedly mansome features.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I had something written here once, but I realized recently that this is kind of a silly question.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?

But on my actual days off, hopefully sitting around a table with friends, sharing food and jokes.

Or perhaps, going out on a movie night an adventure around town.

I like to on occasion go admire some art and then after I am done with the admiration, give them the aforementioned amusing captions and admire them some more. But in a more humorous light.

If I'm not doing the above, I'm at home consuming media, such as a book, movie, or some new game. Or possibly doing blasphemy at food in the kitchen.

Like Jam Fried Rice! Just trust me on this one, it was really tasty.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am terrible at being conversational over texting. For whatever reason I just feel uncomfortable about small talking over texts.

I don't know why it is, but I just suck at holding conversations over text rather than I am over skype IM, phone, or in person.

I guess I'm too use to texts costing money? Ah well.

I'm totally into non-committal chatting, because it's nice to chat with people.

Maybe possibly if we feel like it, we can go be weirdos and nervous over a beer, maybe eat some tasty edibles.

Board games are fun too, but totally optional. The act of play in it's various forms is a passion for me, but I could just as easily not just talk about work in my time off. ; ]
