I am adventurous, smart, and optimistic.

My Self-Summary

I am generally happy, love getting into adventures, and meeting new people. I've lived in Portland for the last five years, and moved here recently. Very recently. I like my job, but hate talking about it. I'm tolerant and open-minded, sometimes to a fault. I have an above average ability to make Thai peanut sauce, make decisions, and make out. I have a below average ability to write self-summaries.

What I’m doing with my life

I moved here in August for grad school. So I am still in the process of discovering new bars/restaurants/exciting activities.

Hey, maybe you have a favorite place or thing or experience that you want to share...

I’m really good at

Snatching kisses and vice versa. Hardy har har!

The first things people usually notice about me

Really _you_ should be answering this, right? Tell me, what stands out about me?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Wow, i could either list hundreds, or none. Maybe I'll come back to this one...

Nope, still not going to list my faves... I am really passionate about music, books and food, and to a lesser extent, movies. I have lots to say about all these subjects, but it really bothers me to condense them into a list. These are subjects that two or more people should talk back and forth about, exchanging their thoughts and feelings about what the book or album really means to them. These are not subjects to be keyed into a textbox.

So... If you are really interested in my tastes, lets talk about it over drinks.

Though I do love Ethiopian food, FWIW.

The six things I could never do without

1. Interesting People.
2. Books.
3. Delicious Food.
4. Spell Check.
5. It turns out I can, in fact, do without entry 5.
6. iPod.

I _do_ love my family and friends, but... Gotta make room for spell check.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Lately health care reform. (If you are reading this and health care reform is no longer a major news story, its because I don't update my profile all that often.)

(Actually, looking at my profile, there are still numerous references to living in Portland. So, yeah, I am profile lazy.)

On a typical Friday night I am

I've always been more of a Thursday afternoon kind of person.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm currently watching 21 Jump Street.

You should message me if

You are interesting, opinionated, wanting to share an exciting activity or random adventure.

Or you know of a good bar trivia night somewhere! Come on, tell me that wouldn't be fun!
