My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm originally from London, went to University in Manchester and after gaining a Masters degree in Physics with Philosophy moved to Bristol to make websites (as it's pretty tricky to get a job doing physics). Now I work at Dyson programming robots.
So yeah - nerdy as fuck.

I never managed to go travelling after university, despite my best intentions. I really want to visit Japan そして、日本語をべんきょうし!

I used to do a lot of music - writing, recording, performing songs and helping run a small record label. I should really get back in to that...
Music festivals!

I'm kind of gender fluid. I have never been a Real Man™

I give a fuck about a lot of things.

I am fond of good coffee.

I often forget to get my hair cut. Probably only ever get it cut once everry 3-4 months.

Femenist, sex-positive, body positive, transhumanist, lefty green politics.

Er, let's leave it at that.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I currently work at Dyson as a Robotics Software Engineer. I like to play with computers and I like to make things.

Seriously though, if I knew where I was going, I would already be there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Thinking and in-depth discussion. Politics and philosophy and stuff. I'm also pretty good with computers and music.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I could go on for ages but I'll leave it at: Oceansize, Radiohead, The Joy Formidable, Boards of Canada, (early) Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, RATM, NIN, Dr Dre, Pink Floyd, and My Bloody Valentine. - sometimes I remember to scrobble stuff:

Favourite Books:
- Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Scott Pilgrim, Tai-Pan, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, His Dark Materials, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, Freakonomics, Ender's Game, Brave New World
I do also read a fair bit of nonfiction as well, most recently political philosophy. The Prince by Machiavelli was pretty ace. Currently enjoying an introduction to Michel Foucault.

Almost Famous, Clerks, The Shawshank Redemption, Star Wars, Pulp Fiction, Akira, The Big Lebowski, Toy Story, some of the James Bonds, Bladerunner, The Matrix, Inception, Django Unchained

Doctor Who, Firefly, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, Daria, Archer, The Wire, South Park, Community, Qi, Black Books, Futurama, anything by Charlie Brooker, Battlestar Galactica. Also fond of anime, especially Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note and Onepiece.

Half Life series, Zelda (especially Majora's Mask), Portal, Deus Ex. Often in to humble indie bundle games these days
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no particular order
- Computers (+ the internet)
- Music and my instruments
- Hot caffinated beverages
- Friends
- Science
- Sex

(Also food, oxygen and water, but lets take that as given)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
If I'm posting it on the internet for everyone to see, surely it isn't private?
