a) The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. (I loved the way he
brought most of his other stories together in one series)And I've
just started on the 4th Harry Potter book. (I did read the last one
already so I know how it ends... sue me) I also read a lot of
non-fiction, with a focus on world history.
b) Too many movies to list, but my favorites movie of all time is
Breakfast at Tiffany's because I am a huge fan of Audrey Hepburn.
On the flip side, my favorite action film is Saving Private Ryan
because it showed the realism of war and the tragedies that took
place every day over there. I know its necessary, but it doesn't
make it any less sad. I also go for cheesy 80's flicks, from
Breakfast Club to Ferris Beuller, and most horribly bad "Arnold"
flicks.
c) I like mostly 80's light rock (think
a-ha) and alternative from the 90's and
others. I've also got videos for Everclear, 3 Doors Down, Bowling
for Soup, Devotcha, Genesis, Maroon 5, and She & Him on my
computer. Throw in some Garbage and Weezer (whatever color album
they're on) and you have a complete view of my likes.
I also played a lot of Alisha's Attic when I DJ'd in college, along
with a few others like Green Day, Ministry, and the Murmurs. Hey,
it was an alternative Rock college station. What was I supposed to
play, Nirvana? Oh, and when I needed to go on a bathroom break, I
would play November Rain by Guns and Roses... it was Heaven because
it was 9 minutes long!
d) I'm pretty boring with what I like. Steak and Potatoes does it
for me. I am trying to eat a little healthier though. My goal is to
eat a salad for a meal instead of a burger at least one meal a day.
