I am honest, playful, and made of magic.
My Self-Summary
I hate summarizing myself in these little white boxes. I'm a
person, albeit a somewhat cartoonish one, but a person nonetheless.
I've got all these, like, layers and stuff. I'll ask someone else
to.
"Jonny has an air of child-like fun about him. He's always climbing
on things and jumping off them; trying not to step on the cracks in
the sidewalk; racing people for no reason other than to race
people. He just appears to love life more than most."
I am an open book, if you want to know about me, ASK.
As for my "matches", I just want someone with relatively high
energy levels and
something-that-sounds-less-cheesy-but-means-the-same-thing-as a
"free spirit". I'm not really much of a homebody, and feel a little
restless if I stay inside for too long.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in a pre-school, getting paid the big bucks to run around a
playground all day playing Duck-Duck-Goose and
Ring-Around-The-Rosie. I love my job.
I am an occasional student and a full-time hobby-hopper. I've tried
a lot of things, and am down for trying just about anything. I
enjoy doing things, whatever they may be. I'm learning to play the
fiddle and have
just picked up longboarding as well. I might pick up another hobby
or two in the not-too-distant future. Any recommendations?
I just moved into a new place with some friends and am currently
getting settled in.
This is a boring section. Too information-based.
I’m really good at
A while back I admitted that a life goal of mine was for my name to
enter the vernacular, like "to Jimmy something" is to pry open, or
how "I'm just Joshing you" means one is joking around. I would love
for "to Jonny" to become such a word.
A friend once suggested using "to Jonny" to describe something I'm
really good at, she defined "Jonnying" as "Understanding situations
fully without needing even the slightest bit of explanation".
According to her, I'm quite skilled at divining things from subtle
cues around me.
Also I am super-humanly good at
word jumbles. Like
Mutant-Super-Power good.
The first things people usually notice about me
Long Hair, Big Nose, Glasses. For this reason I am frequently told
I resemble: John Lennon, Howard Stern, Ozzy Osbourne, Geddy
Lee.
Also my pants. I wear ripped up pants with pajama pants under them
all the time, and people seem to dig them. I will be the first to
admit that they are a misguided attempt at fashion.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Book: Don Quixote.
Movie: Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.
Music: I have 150+ gigs of music on my computer, I listen to a lot
of it. Lately I've been on a bit of a
Klezmer kick.
Food: My favorite Food Adjectives are Spicy and Crunchy. If those
are apt descriptors, Jonny will love it.
The six things I could never do without
1) Music.
2) People.
3) Humor.
4) Showers.
5) Shoes.
6)
Burritos.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- Words, mostly the best-sounding pronunciations of them even if
they are incorrect.
- If everyone I knew was an Animal/Article of Clothes/Disney
Movie/Candy/Comic Book Super Hero/School Supply, what
Animal/Article of Clothes/Disney Movie/Candy/Comic Book Super
Hero/School Supply would they be? (I would be a
Lion/Bathrobe/Hercules/Candy Corn/Gambit/Trapper Keeper.)
- The hypothetical origins of various sayings and aphorisms.
- Naked Girls.
- What to get people for Christmas (ALL YEAR ROUND).
- Music.
-
Jews.
On a typical Friday night I am
Gathering the troops, planning weekends, trying to convince people
that leaving the house is a good thing sometimes. I'm the most
action-packed of my group of friends, but I can get them to go
adventuring
with me from time to time.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I have a stutter that comes and goes. I haven't seen it in a few
weeks, but it's never totally gone.
Stuttering SUCKS, by the way. Mutiny of one's own body.
You should message me if
You feel like it.
I'm a pretty awesome dude. You'll probably like talking to me.
