I'm a very open person, I like to talk (as the sheer size of my profile no doubt indicates), my political views are very liberal, especially socially. Please don't tell me about people pulling themselves up by their bootstraps.

I try to find the humour in the little things in life and despite a propensity for it, I try not to be TOO serious.

I do enjoy political and philosophical discussions. I'm also a big fan of zombies. I prefer the Slow Shambling Style (think Romero) kind to the get up and run bit.

I'm probably sitting with my laptop and cell phone at some park working at any given day. I may have even filled out parts of this profile at said park.

Keeping healthy, I do Yoga and Pilates a few times a week(note to self been seriously slacking on the Y&P). I love running and when it's not so damn cold I like to do so regularly.

For income I'm a software engineer, I run www.brooklynwebdevelopers.com with a friend. I was working 3 days a week doing that but now it seems like I work 6-7 days a week :/ Business be good but I be busy.
I also volunteer as the "acting CFO" of a Brooklyn-based non-profit art criticism blog.

Before that I ran a Fetish DVD distribution company

I've been trying to really enjoy NYC, Yoga in the park, seeing plays in the park, movies in the park, um going to the park in the park.... ok fine that last one is stupid but lots of park stuffs!

Solving problems. I have a degree in computer science and psychology. I like solving problems with technology and people.

Depends on what they're staring at.

Last few books I've read: The Merchant of Venice; Wuthering Heights; The Great Gatsby; On Crime and Punishment now.
I've been catching up on some necessary reading.
I am an avid reader of the NY Times

In film I have very varied tastes. I enjoy Sci-fi ala Cronenberg [Think The Fly, and hopefully Cosmopolis]
I enjoyed Hertzog's Encounters at the End of the World.
The Kids are Alright was great
Terminator 1 gritty Sci-fi!
To Sir, With Love, a classic
Nightmare on Elm Street!
I also enjoyed The Piano Teacher, Secretary [2002 with Maggie Gyllenhaal], Videodrome, if you know these you'll see a pattern.

I love eating. Variety is the spice of life and nothing exemplifies this more than what you eat. I have yet to meat[sic] a type of food I don't like. I do eat meat and such but I also enjoy not eating meat a significant portion of the time, so really I am herbivore, carnivore, as well as omnivore friendly

Musically I love so many things it's hard to say.
Lately I have been listening to a lot of
Depeche Mode. Zola Jesus, New Order, Morrissey, Daft Punk, The Clash, NiN. I love oldies too, doo-wop, motown.

I like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Just started watching Breaking Bad and House of Cards

I have no cable, but I do have Netflix and Hulu! I also still buy DVDs

How about we make this a few things I can do without because.... hey it's my profile get over it.

Will Ferrel! I get it, he takes off his pants but is it THAT funny? Though I admit in non-comedy, such as Stranger Than Fiction, he's pretty good.

Why people continue to vote Clowns into office. As much as I love blaming the republicans for our problems the reality is that the electorate is at fault. These are elected officials.... Bad people will always be around but if people don't listen to them then it is manageable.

I'm an agnostic which some people confuse for atheism. So I'll explain my thoughts below :p For fun!
I'll give you an illustration. Imagine you have a point and that point is religion, some form of god. So you make another point as far away from it as you can and you call it atheism. On one end is certainty of a god(s), on the other is certainty of no gods. Agnosticism is not in the middle. Go to the middle of the line, then go straight down and make a point. You should have a triangle. That point is agnosticism. It is not between either point on the same axis but it is equidistant. Atheism and religions are about certainty over how many gods, Agnosticism is literally without knowledge.

My father told me when I was a kid that variety was the spice of life. So my weekends vary, I will say however I am not a big fan of "The Club", I do go out to bars and such but it's sometimes not all the time. I really do enjoy a good belgian beer or bottle of wine.
There are so many things to do in this city, nighttime yoga, movies in a theater, outdoor movie at a park, art galleries, museums, dinner, in or out, staying home and having sex. I enjoy cooking. I reallllly like making Eggplant Rolatini, and chili, for some reason.

I also equally enjoy spending time at home, with some wine and a movie. What you do doesn't matter, that you enjoy it does.

I'm a very sexually open person[see freak] who has a very healthy love for sex. I don't consider it THAT private but most people do so it goes here.

Also I'm a fan of Star Trek the Next Generation :p
