My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hey! My name's Jory. I play bass in a band called Camas (check us out on Facebook:D) and perform at the comedy club when I'm not doing that, so I'm great for parties! I just moved back home this last April after spending 9 months being homeless in California when my car broke down there, it was pretty edgy. I'm never bored because my day-to-day life is a constant adventure whether I'm up in the mountains, out on the town, or taking a night at home to play PS2 and see what I can make out of the last three things in my cupboard. I'd like to find a girl who, like me, enjoys every moment and doesn't mind shaking things up every once in a while.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Since I moved back I've just been working as a call center rep until I save up enough money to buy a new car and move to Portland for college next fall. I'd really like to become a music teacher and keep performing on the side. I also make it a goal to travel out of state at least once a month. Always gotta keep things fresh, am I right?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Playing music, being funny, getting weird, finding adventure, winding up in situations where I should lose my cool, keeping my cool anyway (most times at least) and above all, making complete strangers feel weirdly comfortable sharing their life stories with me because my mere presence creates a 'no-judgement' zone. Just a few of my many life skills.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I just cut off all my hair so I'm not really sure anymore.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies and Shows: If I'm gonna take the time to sit down and watch something, I either want it help me unwind by making me laugh or expand my mind by informing me of things. So comedies and documentaries are my shit!

Music: Most of the music I like was made before I was born, but if it's good it's good, right? Country, Dubstep, Screamo and the Billboard Top 40 can all go take a hike. But other than that my favorite genres are Reggae, Grunge, Folk, Hard Rock, Alternative, Jam Bands, Psychedelic, British Invasion, Jazz, Old old Blues, Outlaw Country, Bluegrass, Ska, Punk, Old Metal, and anything else I deem worthy of my taste.

Books: I mostly read for information but even when I'm not reading for cold hard facts, I like it when books make me think. A few that do just that would be Into the Wild, Great Gatsby, Brave New World, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Giver, etc.

Food: Things like Apples & Bananas, Granola, Dried Fruits, Oatmeal, Chicken & Rice, Mac n' Cheese, Peanuts, Sunflower seeds, Tortilla chips, Fajitas, Burritos, Stir Fry, Beef Stew, Sammiches, Pizza, Chinese Buffet, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
-Musical Instruments
-Family, Friends & and all around good people in general
-Places to explore
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How big the universe is, how unlikely my birth is, and why realizing that is the key to living life to the fullest. And also about how awesome Monty Python is.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing something with people I care about. Usually things like attending/performing concerts, attending/performing stand-up comedy, hiking, biking, and various other shenanigans. Assuming I'm not working at least.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I find John Mayer to be a phenomenal musician and tasteful lyricist. And that hearing him sing makes my junk move just a little.
