I am a 42 years old Spaniard. I am funny and like a good conversation. I can have serious talks about trivial things and talk jokingly about deep stuff (and vice versa, I guess...)

I always try to do the right thing, and I have suffered the consequences. By now I should know better, but it seems I don't learn.

I don't like to talk about myself, but I am doing an effort in this profile.

I'm kind of a geek. You can find me programming computers for fun, reading math or physics books or trying to derive a new formulation for a physical problem.

On the less geeky side, I also like to play guitar (I'm not very good, but I can play), draw comics (did I say less geeky?) or write short stories.

I used to like to go to bars (in Spain it's a slightly different concept), but nowadays I don't do it very often.

I am in the third year of a PhD in fluid mechanics. Things are going fine, but now I am starting to think what's the point of doing a PhD? It is not that I don't want to finish it, is just that suddenly it doesn't seem so important to me.

I'm a good conversationalist.

I'm a problem-solver. I'm very good starting new projects (and bad finishing them, once all the main difficulties are gone).

I'm funny, even in English.

I'm not sure because I don't think too much about the image other people has of me, but I will say:

- I am weird (in a good way ;-) )
- I am shy-ish (I don't know why because I usually don't feel like it, although there is something true about it).
- I am intelligent (again, is something I don't understand completely)
- I can debate about anything.

I used to think in a lot of different stuff: Stories to write or film, programs to code, ways to fix the world... Now I have to focus in my PhD and I find difficult to do something else.

This summer I am also thinking in what I want to do with my life.

I either stay at home or go out to dinner with a friend. There was a time when I felt bad if I stood a Friday at home, but not anymore ;-)

I have discovered I like kids. Well, this is not private, but it is something I didn't expect.
