I am from Akron, Ohio, and I live where I grew up in Springfield township. I am a graduate of Kent State University and have Bachelors of Science in both Technology and Aeronautical Studies. Since graduation I have been employed in a plastic extrusion shop where I work in maintenance. I like gadgets, especially computers, cars, and aircraft, and I like construction too. I spend most of my time working, after that either finding anything fun to do with friends, or researching, especially on Wikipedia and the internet. Recently I've been almost completely rebuilding a house to be my future home. Politically I'm pretty moderate but I do have definite opinions on the issues; I don't discriminate because of someone's beliefs but I don't get along well with people that do. But I am extremely easy going and I can get along with almost anyone.

I'm a pretty laid back person. My job requires me to stay on top of things but otherwise I'm content with a nice day in, as opposed to always being somewhere doing something. With that said, I do like to travel, although I rarely get the chance to any more. When I do go out my favorite things are concerts, car shows, museums, and the like. It's fascinating to see how things were done in a different place and time.

I am giving, knowledgeable, and open minded

Working. Seriously. I do try to have some fun when I can but I'm trying to save for the future and keep the bills paid. I'm old fashioned like that. I almost have my own house, and the time out of work I do have goes to fixing that up. I'd like to start a family but I'm not making much progress, as you'd probably guessed since I'm here. I also try to learn as much as I can.

Any kind of machinery, especially figuring out how it works and fixing problems. That means I fix everything myself; I never hire contractors or mechanics unless it's not meant to be fixed (like the Taurus I used to own). That explains my current job of fixing things. I'm also good at math and logic, and have an intense curiosity that has given me a good trivia knowledge. I've also found I'm pretty good at spelling as I've become several people's spell checker.

I'm different looking and quiet. If anything comes up that involves intelligence people usually notice that. I think a lot of people judge by appearances and assume I'm the badass type, and I'm really not. I'm also hard working and tend to do anything for the people that are important to me.

Books: Tales of Known Space by Larry Niven, Plum Island, The Lions Den, and Night Fall by Nelson DeMille, any technical manual. I also like reading catalogs and thinking how I'd like to own the stuff in them. Temptations by Otis Williams and Patricia Romanowski is also a favorite of mine.

Movies: Really any silly comedy, think Airplane!, 40 Year Old Virgin, or anything with Mel Brooks. I also like some war dramas like Saving Private Ryan or Das Boot, and the occasional sci-fi. I'm not either a Star Wars or Star Trek fan, but I do like the Terminator series. Except the TV show.

Music: I like anything except the top 40, newer rock, heavy metal or rap; I prefer R&B/soul mostly but also like classic rock. I've been to a lot of concerts from both of those kinds. I listen to the radio more than anything else except being online, but I usually listen to talk radio.

Food: Ethnic cuisine (Taco Bell), and many other sophisticated eateries that require I pull around to the second window. I like Mexican and Italian mostly, I'm not terribly picky, except I really don't like vegetables. I also really like chicken. Which is why it's good to live close to Barberton.

My knowledge, my critical thinking ability, my friends, my family, my optimism, the internet.

I can be pretty philosophical at times, like why things are the way they are, or where the world is heading. I also think about the future a lot.

Relaxing after the week. I'm not one to go out much, at least not after work. I do like the occasional Friday night car show.

Like a lot of people, that I'm on here. I don't admit that to a lot of people though.

You are a nice person. If you're someone with an attitude I can guarantee we won't get along. Immature people need not apply either. I only look for something serious, I don't believe in flings, so if you're after that I can't help. But if you think we're similar and we can get along please don't hesitate to write, like I've said I am a nice person and I always look forward to meeting new people. You don't have to be looking just for a relationship either, I'm also here to make new friends. I'm pretty shy; if you want to talk you'll probably have to message me as I'm not very good at that.

I am also definitely preferential to good girls; I behave myself and am not attracted to wild girls. I'll be friends with anyone but for a relationship I've had real bad luck with that type. I don't like to do too many crazy things either, I'm not a partier or a club person, which could make it difficult finding fun things to do together.
