I teach kids to build soccer playing robots in my free time: seriously! You could best describe me as a techy-people person. I'm working on my PhD in computer science, and with a startup alongside.

My favorite part of grad school so far has been teaching - it's really fun! I love getting people excited and generating enthusiasm.

Despite all the tech stuff, by far and away I'm a people person. I tend to connect with people easily. I'm emotionally perceptive and verbal - I can talk for hours about just about anything! I'm excitable, often smiling, and irrepressibly optimistic.

I stay pretty active. I ran two marathons recently, one with two of my little cousins: Grandma was SUPER happy!

I love nature - hiking, biking, and stargazing. I head upstate once a month or so with a hiking group (all weather!) for the fresh air and to explore. In terms of stargazing, I drive out of the city from time to time with a couple friends and a telescope to see the sights.

I have TONS of positive energy. I'm a kid at heart.

I taught a college class on how to write computer programs that play chess! I LOVE mountain biking - it's so rare that I get to do it, living in the city.

I light up around people. I'm inquisitive and constantly smiling.

Movies: I'm a big scifi / fantasy fan, and also documentaries. All the usual nerdy stuff: Star wars / Star trek / Harry potter / Lord of the Rings. Funny stuff: SNL, Seinfeld, Simpsons.

Books: right now I'm chewing through a bunch of stuff my grandfather gave me. He's really into the history of science - how things get built, and when. I'm reading a book called "Programming the Universe", and another called "The Idea Factory."

Food: I'll eat anything, once.

Telescope. Running shoes. Coffee. Science. Teaching. A good friend.

The same thing we do every night, Pinky - try to take over the world! 50/50 split out with friends / working at a coffee shop near the lab.

I look for the same qualities in women that I do in my best friends. If you're kind, energetic, and intellectually curious we'll probably get along well! And, if you think stargazing is cool and want to learn the constellations.
