I'm a fun loving guy who likes to stay active (soccer, tennis, basketball, football, volleyball, golf, skiing, running, scuba) and is fairly open about myself and my thoughts. I won't exactly come right out and say things all the time, but I will always give an honest answer. I'm a fan of sarcasm, and I hope you can see through it to understand what I'm actually saying and appreciate the humor I intended.

Intelligent conversation is important to me, but so is being able to goof around and joke. A good sense of humor is a must, and if you can get my references, all the better. Much like my profile, I consider myself a work in progress, not because I'm in a bad position, but because I feel like I can always keep getting better. Life to me is an adventure of growth, and I want to embrace it.

I'm a working stiff, the whole 8 to 5 plus what it takes to get the job done. I like what I do and I like where I live, but unfortunately those two things exist 30 miles apart through Baltimore traffic (I'm working in Columbia, MD), so I spend more time in the car than I'd like, but my friends, coworkers, job, and lifestyle make it worth it to me. For that reason I like to take advantage of the time I do have to get out and explore/hangout/drink/relax.

I'm a bit of a Jack-of-all-Trades really, but I am pretty good at most athletics and problem solving, including listening and offering advice.

People always seem to think I'm younger than I actually am. I guess I've got a young face, which I won't complain about since I'm not getting any younger. Hopefully it sticks around for a while!

I don't do a ton of reading these days, but I have been a fan of the Harry Potter series, Ray Bradbury's work (particularly The Illustrated Man), Mark Twain's work (take a guess), and more sports and comedy related works.

Movies I enjoy are generally comedies with some action and drama mixed in for good measure: Good Will Hunting, The Departed, anything by Kevin Smith especially Clerks and Dogma, Office Space, Fight Club, Wedding Crashers, The Godfather, Boondock Saints, The Rundown, The Blues Brothers, many Adam Sandler films (I know, I was going so well until that mention, right?), Dazed and Confused, The Big Lebowski, the Batman trilogy (latest and greatest), Superbad, I Robot, Minority Report, Zoolander, Anchorman, and plenty more.

I can't (and don't) even try to keep up with all of these anymore, just because there's too much to watch and so little time: The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Archer, The League, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, SNL, South Park, The Office, 30 Rock, Fringe, Merlin, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Storage Wars, Operation Repo, Pawn Stars.

My music tastes are generally driven to rock, but I try to keep an open mind on other music, and enjoy a pretty good amount of it: Billy Joel, Weezer, The Who, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Linkin Park, Guns N Roses, The Eagles, Alice in Chains, Bon Jovi, Bruce, Muse, The Black Keys, Eric Clapton (with or without the rest of Cream), Stone Temple Pilots, Third Eye Blind, Halestorm, Fun., The Beastie Boys, Notorious B.I.G., Sugar Ray, Eminem, Outkast, Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311, Metallica, Spin Doctors, Blues Traveller, and I'll even throw in some Weird Al Yankovic and Alestorm for good fun. I also recommend anyone to who hasn't seen it to look up the Singapore National Night Presented by Mentos song because I find it hilarious (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jxU89x78ac).

As for food: Is it edible? Yea, I'll have some of that. But seafood definitely holds a special place in my heart... or at least my stomach.

My mind goes all over the place. Sometimes I think too much about things, sometimes I have nothing but music playing in my head. And sometimes that music runs like a broken jukebox and repeats things over and over because I can't remember all of the words or their sequence.

I've never seen anything wrong with staying in to unwind, but I like to get out and about, too.

That's a tough one, but if you're interested in something in particular, I welcome you to ask and I'll answer. Probably a good one to go with is that I don't have a smart phone. I'm still rocking my flip phone and loving that I only have to charge is maybe once a week.
