To start with, I guess i would fall squarely in the nerdy side of the Jock-Nerd spectrum of male stereotypes. I enjoy playing PC games and watching YouTube videos and reading interesting Wikipedia articles. I like to learn new things whenever I can. I'm not a huge outdoors person, though I did go skiing quite a bit when I was younger. I've sort of avoided serious relationships in my life so far, which I now view as a bit of a mistake. I did go to my high school prom but other than that I tried my best to avoid the drama that came with dating. I went to college and got myself a B.S. in Political Science which has so far not served me very well, though I'm still trying to blame that on the economy.

I am currently in a transitionary period in my life. I am helping my parents move into their dream house on the Oregon coast and will soon be renting a room from a longtime friend in Vancouver, Wa who just bought his first house. At the moment I am unemployed but I plan on changing that as soon as things settle down a bit in my life. In the mean time I'd like to get to know some more people in the region.

Learning new things quickly and listening to other people's problems without being judgmental.

Books: The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Hobbit; Tom Clancy novels. I haven't sat down and read a good book in a while but I'd love to find another author that piques my interest.

Movies: The Lord of the Rings trilogy is my favorite set of movies, followed closely by the original Star Wars trilogy and the original Indiana Jones trilogy. As far as newer films go I've really been enjoying the comic book superhero films (Iron Man, Batman, Avengers, etc.)

TV Shows: I'm not a huge fan of regular television programming for the most part, though I do enjoy watching educational shows from time to time. I've also been surprised by how much I enjoy the cartoon Adventure Time. I'd much rather browse through random YouTube videos or my subscribed channels than watch TV to be honest.

Music: I don't really have a favorite band or artist and I can listen to a wide range of music genres, though I'm not a huge fan of rap or country. I guess the music I've been listening to lately would fall under the categories of alternative rock, as well as dubstep, but I'm not really a music aficionado.

My family, my friends, O2, my computer, Steam (gaming related), and my cell phone. Though I'm sure I could probably survive without some of those things.

What exactly I want to do with my life. I've gone to school and I got my degree, but I'm still not certain what I want to do with it. I've also recently been thinking about meeting a nice woman who shares my interests, which is why I'm on this site to begin with.

I don't really have typical Friday nights at the moment, but if I had to guess what I'd most likely be doing, it would probably involve gaming. Though, I'm almost always willing to do something more exciting if the opportunity arises.

I've abstained from sex and plan to do so until I'm married.
