Weird, aging Jewish Dead head from New York City. I work in the computer industry but spend as much time as possible in nature, a dyed in the wool tree hugger. My politics are pretty eccentric, a cross between Deep Green (think Earth First) and European socialist. I'm pretty harmless, I have a way with animals, small children like me, they think I'm a big kid, adults well not so much.
I used to have another profile here but somehow it got deleted. A little annoying, there are many things to wound up over in life but this is not one of them.
Right out of the gate, I am polyamorous. I know for many that is not their cup of tea and that's cool but I believe that adults need to know the facts so they can make an informed choice.
What I’m doing with my life
Working for the day when sell off all my positions including the
house and split to Humboldt county. In the mean time, in the words
of Elvis Costello, "Welcome to the working week. I know it don't
thrill you, I hope it don't kill you."
I’m really good at
Making coffee, cooking, finding my way in the woods, pitching a
tent in the rain (my personal best is 3 minutes 45 seconds)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Monkey Wrench Gang, A Sand County Almanac, Cadillac
Desert, Silent Sprint, Walden
Music: Grateful Dead, Phish, Bob Dylan, American Analog Set, Nico,
REM, Brian Eno, Penguin Cafe, Captain Beefheart.
As far as I'm concerned there are 3 kinds of music; The stuff I
have not heard, the stuff I have heard and it sucked and the stuff
I have heard and it did not suck. I'll listen to anything a couple
Movies: Gasland, Jeramiah Johnson, The 7th Seal, Rivers of a Lost
Coast, Wings of Desire, Koyaanisqatsi
The six things I could never do without
coffee, sex, books, music, my cats, trees, gravity, sunlight,
photosynthesis. Yes, I know that is more then six
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Trees, computers, cats, what the hell is that noise?
On a typical Friday night I am
Taking my shoes off (I don't like wearing shoes), having a glass of
wine, glad the work week is over.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I once voted for a republican. It was Dennis Peron and only because
he wanted to legalize pot.
You should message me if
Why not? It could be fun, the worst thing that could happen is you
think I'm an idiot and you block me.
