My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I work hard and like to play even harder (if I can stay awake)! I love the kids I work with, as well as my co-workers. I feel very fortunate to find a job that I love, where I am successful as well as appreciated, right out of college! My friends and family are the most important things in my life! I am an avid peoplewatcher and sometimes, shamefully, an eavesdropper. My favorite new quote is "Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means that you have decided to look beyond the imperfections." I am the weirdest person you will ever meet! =0)

I am goofy, feisty, and an eternal optimist
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
That changes every day! Can you tell that I am slightly indecisive?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people smile. I try to be contagiously happy most of the time. With a name like Joy, how can I not? I have a plethora of useless knowledge floating in my head which makes me good at trivia games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I don't know, I've never asked.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Anything Anne Rice, Where the Red Ferns Grow, The Giver, The Dive From Clausen's Pier, The Poisonwood Bible, The Devil Wears Prada, Anything Isabel Alleande, Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, The Girl with the Pearl Earring, The Other Boleyn Girl, pretty much any Phillipa Gregory book, Me and Mr. Darcy, all of Jane Austen's novels, the Twilight series, and I am now working on the Outlander series.

Movies: I wouldn't even know where to begin here... I love almost all movies. I think the one movie I didn't like was Godzilla 2000.

Music: Postal Service, Aqualung, The Decemberists, Anything old school (Frank Sinatra, Billy Holiday, Etta James, etc.), James Hunter, Jonny Lang, KD Tunstall, Snow Patrol, Sum 41, anything old school french, Paolo Nutini, Tori Amos, good old fashion Jewel, The soundtrack fom "Once", Ingrid Michaelson, The soundtrack from "Across the Universe". Aquabats, Almost everything on the Grey's Anatomy soundtracks, Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, Kings of Leon, Don't you love how music really creates a soundtrack to our lives?

Food: I will try anything once but my favorites are Mexican and Thai food. Although, I will not discount the fabulousness of a fantastic cheeseburger.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My friends, my family, living in a big city, movies, bubble baths, and soft sheets.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Right now its traveling the world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Happy hour with friends, a bonfire, socializing in some way.
