My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
"The most terrifying fact about the universe is not that it is hostile but that it is indifferent; but if we can come to terms with this indifference and accept the challenges of life within the boundaries of death—however mutable man may be able to make them—our existence as a species can have genuine meaning and fulfillment. However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light.” - Stanley Kubrick

I am taking a somewhat of a break from alcohol and extended hours at work for the month of June. If you are game to join me for outdoor activities, museum hangs, watching World Cup Matches and excellent cups of coffee during this time, let me know :)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I have a background in film/photography, and currently work in wine. I'm at a point in my life where I'm looking to transition and am not sure in what realm that will be...possibly a job that combines the two passions. I miss being a cinematographer and know that I will make my way back to that in some realm.

For now I'm a buyer/manager at a wine and spirits shop in NYC, and it might be one of the more interesting jobs out there. I have had the opportunity to travel abroad, meet amazing winemakers and distillers, and connect with wine, spirits and food on a more intense level, just about every day.

In my spare time (whatever that means) I photograph a lot of the music scene in NYC. I love the small venues, the passionate crowds, and the depth and intimacy of a live show.

In the next few years I see myself:

TRAVELing: Spain, Japan, and New Zealand are all on my bucket list

WORKing in a Vineyard: I have to experience the LABOR & LOVE of working a harvest at least once in my life

HAViNg My own PHOTO Show: This is just BEYOND Overdue

CLIMBing a Mountain. I Miss Hiking since being immersed in the City. Oregon & North Carolina are in the mix for this year

DEVELOPing My Palate: Hitting up more of the NYC Culinary Scene Is always on the mix.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.

Listening, cooking, being punctual, drinking wine, cobra pose, sarcasm, extremes, collecting an array of music, talking with my hands, restructuring your fascia, creating the perfect ambiance, wearing-out boots, educating your unknown whiskey palate, mood lighting, wearing black, pushing through the pain, being honest, playing with fire, finding the esthetic moment...
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Eyes: Constantly changing between the color realms of bluish-green-purplish-grey (Apparently they are like mood rings)

Tattoos:Currently have 8 Pieces (and to be fair, if I had more money to invest, I would be fully sleeved)

I Wear Black All the Time

My Intensity & Passion
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

*I am my own worst enemy

*I have about 30 rolls of undeveloped film in my wine fridge - I keep telling myself I'm not allowed to shoot another roll until I develop at least one roll (it hasn't worked)

*I'm originally from Montana - Kind of a NY/MT half bread with a Mother born in raised in Brooklyn and my father from a small town in South Eastern MT. I spent the first half of my life in open Big Skies and the other half in the Big City.

*I love a good thunderstorm - I wanted to be a storm chaser as a child. I don't think it was just out of a sense of adventure, but rather being a part of something that was equally terrifying. A way of conquering and overcoming the fear of uncontrollable things that are greater than ourselves.

*I can get down with METAL - Noisy, Dirty, Sweaty...I"ll take it all.

*I own an Israeli Gas Mask -

*I'm constantly trying to find the balance
